Jones comes to a Pats team so depleted of receiving options they make Troy “two-way” Brown look elite.

Yeah in a league where pass rush is so big...it was a surprise that it hasnt been a big focus in this class.

No, I just think they should have taken an OL.  

Why would I have an axe to grind?  I’m a Niner fan. I have very fond memories of the Bengals. Very very fond. 

I meant with the Cowboys. Cowboys have a very good line but not a lot of depth. Drafting Slater as our swing tackle wouldn’t have been of great value/an immediate impact for us as we’re currently constructed. 

For the record if it were up to me I would take a OL every single year. By year 5 you’re just replacing the guy you drafted 5 years ago. 
 

OL/DL>DB/LB/DT..... every single year. Never take a WR unless he’s super special.

Game manager/Clutch QB with some leadership ability. 
 

Great OL/DL. Strong defense and running game. Keep the games close and the points down. 
 

That keeps salaries from exploding. 
 

Cowboys were on a roll until they drafted Zeke.

Pats offense is trash. 

Jones will have a noticeable drop off from throwing to top tier pro WR at Alabama to the college level receivers in NE.

Was reading an article about how they all had sort of warts. DLF called the defensive players in the draft The Island Of Misfit Toys. There was no sure thing this year, according to PFF. They said usually there's a Bosa, Young, or Garrett, but this year there isn't.
