*** Official 2022 PGA Tour Thread - Memorial Tournament, LIV list leaked- It's all Paulina's Fault **** (1 Viewer)

Conditions are going to be tough tomorrow.  JT seems to like it when it gets tougher, I think Lowry does too.  Scheffler is obviously very good but I don't know if its going to be this easy for him.

You think?  The guys loves the stuff.  Doesn't mean he has a day tomorrow but he talked about it at length, he considers it more challenging/fun golf.  Flat out said he doesn't like tourneys where guys finish 20 under.  He loves going by feel and battling conditions.  Hello, he's from Ireland, of course he loves that ... and like 10 pints after.

That analyst who knows him well was saying the same stuff about him.  I mean, I don't want to see Scheffler blow it, I like him, but would love to see Lowry win it.  And then take his shirt off on 18 and whip it around.

As an aside, Brysonian prefers everything perfect so he can calculate every last angle or measurement like it's a game of pool.  He shot 80 today.  (Cue up the fanboy to come in and say he was injured, but we can also look at all his other Masters rounds.)

Agree with Tiger that ANGC has the course and conditions exactly how they want them, and it’s been a while since they could say that.

I love watching golf. Been looking forward to this for a while. Will watch as much as I can. And seeing as i am unable to walk right now, i am going to watch a lot.

That being said I could see people watching this and not enjoying it at all. With the US open it is easy to see why people are struggling. Miss the fairway and the ball is buried. Across the pond you can see sometimes the wind whipping and rain blowing. Here it just looks like a ton of bad shots. I am not saying thats the case, just saying that visually it is hard to see on some holes how much these greens vary. And obviously if the wind was whipping like in england balls wouldnt stay in place on these fast greens. So a 15mph wind here is probably like a 30 mph wind on slower wet greens. Throw in the grey day and I imagine it just isnt very attractive golf right now for casual fans.

Lots of high scores so far outside Hovland at -2. Scottie is from Texas so grew up playing wind…but he hits it high and has so much movement in his body.

He's from Highland Park which, unless it changed quite a bit from when I went there, isn't really known for its wind.

Good year for HP grads. Matt Stafford wins the Super Bowl and Scottie Scheffler in firm control at Augusta.

Also, Angie Harmon STILL one of the hottest women on the planet.

in 24 Masters (95 rounds), Tiger has shot higher than 75 four times

1995 (A) - 77
1996 (A) - 78
2012 - 77
2022 - 78

10 players under par today (4 still on course)

4 E rounds (Lowry still playing)

38 rounds over par (9 still on course)

This 2 club lengths thing he is taking is a penalty stroke, right?
Yes, unplayable lie

His options

Going back to the original spot of their last shot and hitting from there (kind of like a yellow-stake hazard)

Taking a drop from the unplayable spot that is two clublengths and no nearer the hole

Taking a drop from the unplayable spot that goes as far back as the player would like keeping the unplayable spot between them and the hole

The two hottest players alive…no majors yet and on the greatest golf stage in the world…should be good.

Tiger lost the spring in his step today.

Miracle he is playing but sad to see him walking and looking tired, seemed in pain today.
