Agree. I like watching hard courses but at some point it is too tricked up. Didn’t like playing it either. When the caddie said “ honestly 3 putts from here would be good”, I lost interest.

As an aside, the current LPGA tournament is being played 5 miles from where we are at, working on summer cottage. I hear entry tickets are just $10, so next year we won’t plan any big projects and instead check out the ladies ..tournament.

LPGA events are great. Cheap, lots of free giveaways (food, wine), crowds are tame, easy to get around. Humbling watching a human half tour size launch a ball 2x you can with accuracy.

I think there are some LIV players that DGAF and some that do. Dustin Johnson for instance I'm pretty sure would be upset if he accidentally stumbled into a made cut this weekend, and probably wouldn't even bother showing up for these things if it wasn't part of his deal with LIV. I think he's happy to just count his $300m paycheck and hang on the beach with his hot wife.
Others like Brooks and Bryson clearly care, bigly. Guys like Cam Smith are hard to read but he's certainly fallen off a bit the longer he's been over there.
Whether or not LIV provides them with adequate preparation with the shorter, less frequent, more casual events is a question, but the guys really really passionate about it seem to be finding enough to stay competitive.

Lots of solid colors again…although Bryson trying to revive stripes and Adi going wild with the royal collar for Aberg. What you don’t see is the fabric improvement vs 10 years ago, when color-blocking and bolder looks were more popular, but with 100% poly…vs the poly/span blends they wear today.
