Not just McDavid but the overall team speed, skill and intensity on both sides is off the charts.

I had reservations that this tournament would be just another all-star game, but what a treat.

The Pens have had to morph a bit as Crosby, Malkin, Letang, etc. have aged. Obviously Sid is still playing at a very high level though.

It's actually a computer graphic. So is the graphic just inside the blue line.

If you watch NHL on HULU they usually have broadcasts for each team - and those graphics are specific to whichever team/market you're watching.

You are right about it getting annoyingly distracting.

Yeah it just annoys me when you're trying to keep track of all the players on ice to see the play developing, and get attention drawn away by a giant puck moving along the boards. If it's a graphic they could just not do animations during play, yeah.
