**OFFICIAL 2025 Draft Thread - Green Bay Opens The Door For Guests** (4 Viewers)

NYG-LAR-BAL

only the Ravens need an Edge, probably take Green

thinking Scourtin will be there for Detroit (Pearce is a tough one to fit into their scheme - they prefer pocket crushers who are good run defenders)
I won't be surprised to see Josh Simmons if the medicals checked out. He might be the best offensive lineman in the draft. So I'm thinking him, Jihaad Campbell, or one of the edge rushers.

Whoever it is they love him

If Will Johnson falls past Buffalo, then something is VERY wrong with his medicals, because he's a perfect for for McDermott.

Ravens "A"
Starks is perfect and will be the new Ed Reed in town
Not the same but will start immediately
Terrific pick by the Ravens as usual
It just seems like every couple drafts it’s said “the ravens get their new Ed Reed”

Reed is one of the very best to ever play the position.

They will likely not get the next Ed Reed. They just need to hope this dude is the 1st Starks and memorable enough for that comp to matter.

Quite the safety pair they'll have now.
Was rated 9th overall by Pro Football Focus so you can easily say they got a Top 10 pick at 27
I'm not saying Starks is going to be All Pro right away but I would bet he makes an immediate impact and elevates to one of the better Safeties in the NFL
Also brings some versatility in both 5 and 6 man DB sets where can slide down into the slot if called upon.
Outstanding pick for the ravens

I get it, I followed Reed all the way back to Miami and I don't praise every 1st round Safety but I have a lot of admiration for Starks as he enters the NFL
Reed is Hall of Fame and the Ravens haven't been quite the same since.
They have a prospect to rival the Steelers' Fitz in the Secondary, love the move by the Ravens

Josh Simmons still alive for Philly.
Great idea, not much the Eagles could do wrong down here
Some DBs I like as well, I know they went DB twice in the 1st-2nd last year and it paid off big time.

Jackson from Arkansas would be a beast on that DL but getting someone for the OL probably makes more sense and helps keep their skill players rolling

I have very few picks this year in any league. I’m mostly watching to hang with you nice folks, and dodge bullets for my FF squads. More bullet dodging rounds 2-3-4 though. That’s pucker time.

Conerly is a solid pick.
Apparently the Washington front office saw the same thing we fans saw all last year --- "that o-line is gonna get Daniels killed". With Tunsil at LT, I guess Conerly will battle Coleman for the RT spot, and Wylie will move to G or get cut.

It'll be good for Washington to have a solid RT to deal with all those 1st and 15 they'll be dealing with after the Tunsil trade.

Tunesil is starting to get long in the tooth, and I don't believe they have extended him after trading for him and he'll want to set the market. This is a good longterm pick that gives them flexibility to possibly let Tunesil walk next year or develop this guy or use him as depth.
