**OFFICIAL 2025 Draft Thread - Green Bay Opens The Door For Guests** (4 Viewers)

New Orleans now has the 2nd worst pick in my opinion. I would have rather stuck with Rattler and a vet. Love it for the Bears at 41 though.

ETA: Or a trade down to Buffalo. That's a big drop, wonder how big the haul was?

Name another 2nd round QB drafted in the last decade not named Hurts that has worked out in the NFL?
If they are really good they typically are grabbed in the 1st Rd
Most starting QBs in the NFL are 1st round picks even if they are on their 2nd or 3rd team
Or they are a flyer late like Brock Purdy

Messed up story:

Derrick Harmon's mother died after Steelers drafted her son

PITTSBURGH -- Tiffany Saine, the mother of Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Derrick Harmon, died Thursday night shortly after her son was selected No. 21 in the NFL draft.

Saine, who suffered a stroke in 2022 that left her paralyzed on her left side, was on life support in the hospital while Harmon learned of his NFL future surrounded by the rest of his family in his hometown of Detroit...
Oh that is horrible. His cousin is a student I work with- he was absent today because I had wanted to talk with him about the draft.

Whoa.

Sanders clan posted a YouTube of his draft party last night, and if you watch, you'll see they actually thought the Browns might take him at #5 overall. I am starting to feel bad for this dude, who seems to have completely misunderstood his value heading into this weekend. That said, he needed this humbling.

Just read that, gut punch

:x

-Seriously?
All they're doing is filling holes they themselves created
Chance to right the ship and take Will Johnson since you passed on Barron and have squa-doosh in the Secondary
GRIER!!!

-10 picks in this Draft and a chance to find a starting LG in the next several rounds and you burn draft capital to move up
See Liam Eichenberg where he traded up to get him, almost the same pick # to boot
Massive reach again by Grier.

This guy is a fraud.

He did. It could be the best thing that ever happened to him. Lot of guys that fell used it to fuel their work and proved everyone wrong. Lot of guys quit. We'll see what type of guy Sanders is.
