What a Padre game!!!! I’ve never been in an atmosphere like that, so nuts, so loud, so electric. One of the funnest things I’ve ever done in my life.

I'm sure that was a heck of a good time for Padres fans.

As a dodgers fan it was slightly encouraging to see Walker go that long and it seems unfair to tag him with 6 earned runs since the D let him down. Had already counted this series as an L unless they went up 2-0 but if they'd somehow pulled out the w last night it might have been possible but they're done. Pitching is spent, Freddy limping around, mookie and sho in slumps. Bullpen game for the dodgers. Always a recipe for a W.

It’s baseball where anything can happen so it’s far from over in my mind.

As a lifelong Padre fan, I’m not sure I can dislike a team more than I dislike the Dodgers. But Freddy is showing a TON of heart and grit, and if I made a list of players I’d want on my team Mookie would be right at the top.

I don't really dislike the Padres, I even liked them back in the day when Tony Gwynn was around, but ******** like Machado make it easy to root against them.

Him and Profar.

Profar is like, the nicest guy around. I dunno....former top prospect for the Rangers, couldn't stay healthy, bounced around, an afterthought coming into this season, undrafted in fantasy baseball and yet, in his 30s he's playing his best baseball. Got a billion dollar smile, mild mannered, I'm not understanding the hate. Yeah, he gamed the crowd with that catch, so what?

Machado is a special kind of dBag. That guy is always mouthy. He is red hot, though....gotta like that.

Agreed on Profar GM. He’s literally one of the nicest guys around. Besides having exactly that type of reputation around the league (literally called a “glue guy”) a very good friends kid is on the same little kid baseball team a Profar’s and says in person that’s absolutely true too. Says he’s always smiling, is great with his kid and super gracious with everyone who comes up to him.

I mean.....I'm obviously cheering this team on, but Machado's antics are a tad.....dramatic, no? He's always barking and finger pointing and chest pumping and yelling and it gets a bit boorish. Just settle down sometimes, dude. You're not going to fight 28 other guys on the pitching mound.

That is certainly not my issue. I have zero problems calling out or disliking someone on my team(s), (hated Tommy Pham when he played with us, thought Tatis made some incredibly stupid decisions and acted immature in his first couple years). It’s honestly how I feel about him. I understand why he got the rep he did, he’s acted poorly in the past. But in his time with us I haven’t seen that guy, he’s been a leader and a great teammate.

Considering all the pitching talent on their 40 man, it's wild to think the Dodgers are sending Ryan Brasier out as their SP in an elimination game.

As a Dodgers fan and diehard baseball fan, I think the problem is that these teams are just boring. The only way to make it interesting is to bet the under.

Look at the emotion that the Padres and Mets play with. Nonexistent with either of these teams.

Well, just got home from Downtown Detroit after the Tiger game. Record crowd at the park and the whole downtown area was incredible today. Beautiful crisp sunny day. There is so much energy because this is so unexpected. Take Javy Baez who is not even playing contract off and the Tigers might have one of the 2-3 lowest payrolls in MLB. They are 26th with Baez.

There are not many Tiger fans that can say they followed the team all season. I am a Tiger fan and admit I was just casual as most were before the winning started in mid August..heck you could still get seats anywhere in the park in late August for 10-15 bucks on Stubhub.

So tomorrow it will be a zoo. Tigers sold out playoff game at 6pm, Detroit Redwings sold out home opener at 7pm. These stadiums are less than 1/2 mile apart.

Parking lot owners are licking their chops!

4 beers, 4 hots dogs, bag of chips. 98.00 bucks..unreal. What I did notice today is in general the crowd was much older than the regular season crowd. Not many of the 20 somethings that were loyal when the tickets were cheap, they have been priced out of playoff baseball.

Another great win for the Tigers!!! Guardians couldn't do squat with RISP. After the game ended, it looked like the fans just didn't want to leave ...still soaking in the win.

The home plate ump in the royals yankees game might be the worst one i’ve ever seen. And i’ve seen some. Both ways.

The Royals simply don’t have the bats. We knew that going in and its proven to be true. I imagine the yankees finish it tomorrow. And thats ok.

The royals lost 106 last year and made huge strides this year. Our window is opening now. Just need a couple bats.
