Im looking RB here for the first round, unless moss, brady, are available im hoping barber is still there, but im not quite sure yet, then do i go..portis or lynch? and what do you look for in the upcoming rounds, like round 2, 3, etc, i am lookin to shock everyone and takin colston if TO is off the board in the 2nd, then in the 3rd, santonio holmes?

Just found out I'm in the same boat. I'm looking at RB in the first (Addai, Barber), then an elite WR at 2.02 (TO, Wayne, Fitz). In 3.09 and 4.02, probably have to take at least 1 RB. See what value drops at the other pick at QB, WR, RB and possibly TE. A lot will depend on scoring systems.

You could argue for going RB, RB. But it seems that the drop off from an elite WR is greater than from 2nd to 3rd tier RB.

ya, i am looking at going RB, WR, WR, then either RB/WR, its gonna be a fun draft this year, anybody else got any thoughts?

I was playing around with different mock scenarios. I kind of like going either RB/WR or WR/WR at 1.09 and 2.02. When going WR/WR, you get a combo like Moss/TO/Wayne/Fitz. This does almost force you to go RB/RB at 3.09 and 4.2. But there are starters there like Jacobs, Turner, maybe Bush (PPR), McFadden. Reasonable guys.

It would give you the most explosive WR core. And I kind of like it better than doing something like Gore at 1.09 and Wayne at 2.02, and picking up Bolden/Turner at the next turn. Basically, you get 2 elite guys going WR/WR. Going any other route leaves you at most 1 elite guy.

Something to consider.
