Johnson (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, but he isn't expected to play Sunday. In fact, it could be Week 11 before we see him in game action again. The Houston Chronicle reports there is a "slim possibility" that Johnson could play in Week 9.

Fantasy Source spin: Well, at least this is progress. In the meantime, guys such as Kevin Walter and Andre Davis will continue to produce as sleepers.

What are the expectations of Kevin Walter and Andre Davis today? I don't think they're "sleepers" anymore. Davis may be a solid #2WR.

Kubiak explained that he had a pretty good week of practice and this week his knee wasn't weak after working out, like the week before and then said something like "we'll try to give it a go next week"

Haven't heard anything local but really haven't been listening either. I just wanted to add, given his history of injuries, I doubt he'll play this week. We went through this the beginning of last week when some report said he'll play. Only to find out by Thursday that he's still 2 - 3 weeks out.

Nothing has changed. He's healthy but out of shape is the message I get.
