Fantasy question...

I have Lowe and Cain. Start 1, both, or none. I am looking to start both unless there is a good reason not to. It is a roto league with Losses as a catagory.

Lowe for sure. LAD are a -160 chalk today. You can start Cain and hope he doesn't take the loss. Looks like he started vs. the dodgers twice last year and did nothing good. What other cats do you have? I had a league one time with CGs and Ls and BAA for pitchers. The CGs caused the death of a perfectly good television once for a leaguemate. I'm pretty sure that category took years off my life as well just too stressful.

I'd start them both. You drafted Cain with the knowledge that run support would be an issue for him getting Ws. He's still should be a solid producer in the other SP categories. Chavez Ravine is a good park for pitchers and the Dodger offense isn't that intimidating.

The league is 7x7 with Wins, Losses, Saves, Holds, Ks, ERA, WHIPI know this sort of situation happens during the year. Do you take each situation individually, or if they are your regular starters you play them. I will have a lot of during the year team management questions. Nice to have people willing to answer them.I have them both in my lineup. Now I will have to stay up and watch that game. Stupid West coast games.

:pickle: If you were going to be hesitant to start him in not terrible matchups you wouldn't have drafted him. @ LA is not a terrible matchup.

Blue Jays lose, via the same problem they had all of last year. They can't capitalize with runners in scoring position.

Not turning either double play opportunity in the game winning 7th was probably a bigger problem.
I take that more to be opening day jitters. Last year Aaron Hill was outstanding in the field, i don't expect him to make many more errors like he did today. Although i do expect the Jays to continue to be in the bottom 5 in bringing in runners in scoring positions.

A no decision for both. I'll take those numbers. Nice Ks and great ERA. High WHIP, but that was not too suprising. 9 singles by the Giants off of Lowe. The best was thing about it was it made me tune into the game via internet, and reminded me how awesome Vin Scully is to listen too. Plus, the Bowa melt down was good TV.
