Seriously, dude is the best fantasy RB when he plays.
Exactly. No way Foster doesn't start for me if he is activeLet's be real, unless you're just absurdly stacked at the RB position and have another top 5-10 option, no one is going to bench Foster in the championship. How would you feel if you lost the championship, knowing that had you started Arian ####### Foster, you would have won? I'm either riding Foster to the promised land or off the cliff, and I'm wearing a blindfold. Trust in Arian.
Sure as heck hope so. Two things I can see being a factor: IND rush D is solid if not spectacular, and as a unit seem to play better at home. Also, if Luck gets hot as he's apt to do, may skew HOU's run/pass play ratio towards passing to keep up.So does Foster continue his huge game streak against the Colts in Indy this week?
Yeah..Divisional games are also pretty awesome because it gives us extra historical data to work with. In his career, this is what Foster has done vs. IND..
33/231/1 - 1/7/0
15/102/1 - 9/65/0
23/158/1 - 3/16/0
27/165/0 - 2/4/0
16/96/1 - 2/23/0
Over the past half decade, IND has essentially been Foster's #####. He's never scored less than 15 points in standard vs. them.
Never say neverHere was my post before Foster played IND the first time this season..
Yeah..

ANd to add to it, the penalty was on Devier Posey, who was active for the first time all season and contributes absolutely nothing and who had another penalty yesterday. That guy cost the Texans big and cost the Texans fantasy owners too. That holding penalty cost me a championship. I hate how that doesn't get called unless the defender flails his arms in the air & flops. Very basketbally.
Even more nervous now. Came up small in the fantasy playoffs yet again and I Didn't like what I saw at all once Fitz went out (hard to imagine myself saying that).Yeah, it's a tough spot. Would be hard to sit him unless you have an embarrassment of riches for other options. I guess I'm just saying if I find myself in this boat, I'm going to be nervous a bit on this one. *crosses fingers*.My other options are Lacy and Ingram. Obviously Lacy is a go but I can't rock Ingram over foster. Arian, when healthy is an auto start. The new of Haloti being out only makes it more easy to start himUnless you have a top RB to replace him with, I can't see benching him, especially now with Ngata out.In a 2-RB league, who are you going to bench him for? RBs with good matchups that week include:I'm as big a Foster supporter as there is but I wouldn't start him in that game. Against Kubiak who I am sure will have an idea or two about his opponent and, frankly, because Foster kind of has a history of coming up small against good defenses late in the season (with the exception of the year nobody owned him, of course). DNP last year of course but :He should do fine in ppr leagues week 16 against Baltimore. They have given up a bunch of receptions to running backs. 10 in week 12, 6 in weeks 8, 9 and 10, 9 in week 7 etc.
2012 week 16 vs. Vikes=3 points
2010 week 14 vs. Titans=4 points
I'm sure that is coincidence but in all seriousness, vs. the best run defense against RBs in fantasy against your old coach concerns me a bit.
Steven Jackson
Fred Jackson
DeMarco Murray
Trent Richardson/Boom Herron
Denard Robinson
Le'Veon Bell
Bishop Sankey
CJ Anderson/Montee Ball/Ronnie Hillman
Other than Murray, Bell, and Anderson (assuming Hillman and Ball aren't clouding the Denver RB situation), who would you bench him for? And 2 of those 3 should be starting that week, regardless of whether Foster has a poor matchup or not (perhaps Anderson was a WW pickup & is a bench RB).
Holding on the first one and then on the foster td he committed an illegal block that wasn't necessary and he did poorly. Enough to get called a foul and bring back the foster td.packer_junkie said:It didn't help that the QB struggled to hand the ball off... what happened on the posier penally?
Agreed, my only concern is that Steve from accounting is the next man up at QB.Ravens have cornerback injuries/problems so maybe, hopefully they can something going through the air to help open up the running lanes for Foster.
Probably helps Foster's reception total. I can see them dumping off a ton to him this week.Agreed, my only concern is that Steve from accounting is the next man up at QB.Ravens have cornerback injuries/problems so maybe, hopefully they can something going through the air to help open up the running lanes for Foster.
I would expect enough volume to support 70 yards on the ground and , of course, there is always the possibility with him of breaking one here or there and perhaps having a nicer day. What are some realistic projections for him at this point? I'm not expecting much on the ground-maybe 50-60 yards-but I think he could catch 7+ passes for another 50-60. That would be about 13.5-15 points in my .5ppr. Gotta believe if anyone scores a TD on this offense its him, I just don't know if its gonna happen. 20+ points is what I've come to rely on from Foster and think it's possible.

Won the title against the guy I traded with (Lynch owner), so that makes it even better.I bought him on July 11th.He's untradable in my dynasty. Contenders are saying they might give a 2nd round pick. 'Injury prone'. It's a ####### joke.
I'm rebuilding and probably won't really capitalize on Foster's production in the next 2 years. If his name was LT. and he was 28 and putting up these numbers he'd go for a first plus.
Got Foster and a 2015 2nd round pick for Christine Michael.
Loving it
Congrats. I finally traded him for a 1st and 4th. Chance Lynch is not there next season and Michael will take over as lead back. If he does, oh well.
CHAMPIONSHIP!!
Arian Foster - RB - Texans
Arian Foster exited Week 17 against the Jaguars with a knee injury and is questionable to return.
The Texans also announced a hamstring issue for Foster. He was injured near the end of the first quarter and missed the final series of the opening quarter before heading to the locker room after the break. Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes are handling backfield duties. Foster gingerly paced the sidelines.
Dec 28 - 1:52 PM
When asked about Arian Foster's workload, coach Bill O'Brien said, "You've got to manage him."
Foster will turn 29 in August and has missed 11 games over the last two seasons. When he's played during that span, he's averaged a hefty 21.0 touches per game. Trying to keep Foster fresher is a nice thought, but the Texans are better off riding him into the ground until his contract is up (following the 2016 season). Expect another serious workload in 2015, even if the Texans use a draft pick at running back.

just wanted to note how awesome I amI will peg hou for no fewer wins than carolina
MARK IT DOWN !!!!!!!!!!
Arian Foster has been a full participant at Texans OTAs.
Foster is quietly enjoying one of the healthiest offseasons of his career after battling repeated hamstring and groin injuries since entering the NFL. Per Fantasy Football Calculator, Foster's current Average Draft Position is pick No. 1.10. Foster missed three games last season, but finished as the overall RB3 in per-game PPR scoring, behind only DeMarco Murray and Le'Veon Bell.
