Official Benjamin Watson thread (1 Viewer)

(KFFL) Updating a previous report, Shalise Manza Young, of The Providence Journal, reports New England Patriots TE Benjamin Watson (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 2. He is listed as questionable for Week 9.
(KFFL) John Clayton, of ESPN, reports New England Patriots TE Benjamin Watson (ankle) may be available to play Week 9.
(Rotoworld) Ben Watson (questionable, ankle) was absent for the media portion of practice Friday after being present on both Wednesday and Thursday.Impact: Watson was listed as having been "limited" and is questionable for Week 9, but it looks like he'll need another week to recover fully from his high sprained ankle. Look for Kyle Brady to start in his place against Indianapolis.

I heard Sal P say that he was likely to play but given Bill B's usual subterfuge I am having a hard time thinking that he will play for sure.

I would love for him to play as my opponent this week has has a crazy partiots lineup. He has Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Walker and Donte Stallworth.

Best pickup on the waiver wire in this league would be Owen Daniels.

Any thoughts?

News: Watson (ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Colts, ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports.

Spin: The Pats haven't confirmed his status, so we'll provide an update, one way or another, prior to Sunday's kickoff.

New England Patriots

Inactives: T Wesley Britt, DT Kareem Brown, QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd QB), DB Mel Mitchell, TE Marcellus Rivers, FS Eugene Wilson, G Billy Yates.

Fantasy take: Benjamin Watson is active and will start.

Not going to let this slip.

Yudkin called his sentiment that he would start... and he did. Even if he didn't, I appreciated his "probability factor".

And man, he started out strong with 2 catches, and finished with that. Not sure if it was re-injury, going slow, etc.... but more like game adjustment.

He gets a week off now too.
