Don't have the link, but saw a write-up today that mentioned how a finale date of this season has now been set.

According to the writer of the article, this season is slightly longer than past seasons, and quite possibly lends itself to an evicted houseguest or two returning.

Thursday eviction we will see what the top alliance is. If Zach goes, it's the Quad Squad with Derrick/Cody/Nicole/Hayden; if Zach stays the Detonators are still in command and Derrick and Cody just did that whole Quad Squad (how gay) thing to stay out of harms way for one week.

It will be crucial to see if now that the veto meeting is over, Derrick and Cody inform Frankie and Zach that they were targeted this week.
Derrick let Frankie know Zach is the target tonight. Frankie said he was fine with it. Bye Zach

Actually they are no longer called the Quad Squad, they are now known as "The Rationale".

Last night twitter was blowing up about Zach going home. People really don't want him gone. Pay attention to see if he's revealed information about the HGs and sees goodbye messages in his potential exit interview.. If not, he could be a candidate to return to the house, and the crowd would go wild.

I think someone for sure will be returning with the news of a longer season just hitting.Fire up the"it's rigged" train.

How does the week progress in real time?

We see the eviction and HOH live on Thursday (assuming the comptetion ends in time).

When do they actually get the room? What day do that actually make the nominations, then the BOB then the POV comp and ceremony?

CBS starts showing Thursday Night Football Sept. 11th, don't they? What is that going to do to the BB schedule, especially if the season goes longer? And Survivor is scheduled to start in late September too, although that's a Wednesday night thing.

Let's see if I can answer these for you.

They usually get the room the same night and it's usually during the BBAD broadcast.

The noms usually are made on Friday but with the 2 HOH twist this year some have been made in just a few hours after winning the HOH because they have to get another comp(Battle of the Block)in.The BOB comp can happen hours after the noms or a day after but are usually done by Saturday night. The POV comp happens Sunday and then the ceremony goes off the following day.CBS has no set times if that helps you any but things have been sped up this year with the extra comp added in.

I haven't seen anything concrete as to the exact schedule but with the NFL taking over Thursday nights I will assume they just move eviction night either up a day and do a Tues,Wed mid week schedule or do a Tues,Friday schedule. The back to back scenario seems more likely IMO.

I know finale night is on Wed right after Survivor.

Donny and Hayden BSing.. talking about how they both want Frankie gone next, and then start talking about things they dislike about Christine (Hayden doesn't like that she's married but cuddles with Cody/Derrick, Donny doesn't like her "piercing cackle").

I think they'd both be on board with those two being the next evicted. Hoping so anyway.

Big Brother 16 Finale Date 2014 Announced By CBS

By: Matthew Boyer | August 4, 2014 at 5:00 PM EDT

CBS has announced the Big Brother 16 season finale date set for September 2014 as the Big Brother Houseguests reach the summer’s midway point.

In a schedule revision CBS has moved the Big Brother 16 finale to Wednesday, September 24th at 9:30PM ET/PT and running 90-minutes. The finale will follow the Survivor 2014 season premiere which airs starting at 8PM ET/PT that same night.

The BB16 has carried a lot of strength in its ratings this summer while winning key demos and drawing an average of nearly 7 million viewers. Without all the negative press this season like last year, CBS should be again anxious to renew our favorite reality series for 2015. Fingers crossed!

This finale date feels about a week late and could be a result of other schedule changes as CBS now notes this as a revised plan. We’ll have to get out our calendars and start counting, but with so much time left could there be a planned return of a Jury member for Big Brother 16? What do you think?

I think BOTB has been a disaster. You really can't nominate who you want because you need weaker players so they lose and you stay HOH. Hopefully they realize this and do away with it.

Also, the phrase "blood on my hands" HAS TO GO. It's driving me nuts that it's now used by every HOH when considering their noms. Hate it

I agree botb has got to go. This season is a snoozefest so far. Hard to watch.

Thanks. I guess the real campaigning for votes runs Monday through Wednesday.

Hayden is telling Victoria not to talk game with or believe Christine. Getting her on board with either Frankie or Christine going home next week.

Victoria... might go really far in this game. Hypothetically, if Derrick won the final 3 HOH and had to take Cody or Victoria to the final 2, who do you think he'd take? He's been protecting her all game, and she probably wouldn't get many jury votes.

If the show's motto is to expect the unexpected, and everyone expects a double eviction, wouldn't the unexpected be to not have double eviction? That would keep the house guests on their toes.

The way some have pet peeves about "beast" and "blood on my hands", "expect the unexpected" is getting there for me.

Plus, to me "expect the unexpected" translates to "we're makin' this #### up as we go" and leaves them an out to add pandora's box or diamond POV or whatever they want, when they want, to manipulate the game as they wish.

It's Big Brother. Doing what ever they want is what they do.

starting to see this. starting to see why there are so many conspiracy theorists.

Late change of plans in house.

Sounds like Zach will be kept. Cody, Christine, Frankie and Derrick deciding to do so because they believe Hayden/Nicole/Donny might be working together.

Derrick

Hayden

Cody

Nicole
No change.
I'm leaning towards dropping Nic from this and adding Vic. Really think Derrick wants to carry her as far as he can. Hayden's starting to take a liking to her too. Not showmantically and not ahead of Nic, but enough to help her game.

Derrick

Hayden

Cody

Victoria

Derrick "deserves" to win this season, and I hope he does.

First misstep for Derrick. I saw this week as a Frankie-Derrick showdown, and keeping Zach is a big plus in the Frankie column. I think Zach will be loyal to Frankie when the Detonators divide, and have a feeling Caleb will as well.

Yeah I have to agree I don't see much benefit in this move for Derrick or Cody with the exception of maybe placing a target on Nic and Hayden ahead of them by telling Frankie he was the main target.

Next 2 HOH's will be huge to see who will throw the first real punch in this game.Playing it safe to just get to jury sucks for feeds watchers and lovers of the game.

Just flashed back to last night.. unless I missed something, it looks like Caleb started up the "save Zach" idea while talking to Frankie, Frankie spread it to Derrick, D spread it to Cody, and that's where I am..

Christine, Frankie, Zach, Caleb alliance?

Hayden, Nicole, Donny alliance? (probably controlling Joke's vote)

Derrick, Cody alliance? (probably controlling Vic's vote)

So hypothetically if Joke goes and Zach stays, am I right that Christine, Frankie, Zach, and Caleb are in control of this game? If one of them won HOH, they could nom Cody and Derrick together and flip this game upside down. I wonder if they know that?

Yup that's how it's looking to me. I think D/C have to somehow sway Christine to their side. Use her hatred of Zach. Maybe have Cody throw her a bang, think she's dying for that.

Yeah I think The Rationale plus was the way to go for Derrick and Cody.

Christine just dimed out Hayden, Nicole, and Donny to Zach in storage. I think... I can only understand 1 in 5 words when they whisper.

Around 1:58pm cam1/2

Finally a damn good show tonight. Felt pretty bad for Nicole sitting on that block.

Thought Donny was done for after that "beast mode" veto performance, lol.

Derrick gets off scott free this week. .. again. All he had to do is make it to finale night. Drop the undercover cop bomb on jury, and collect his 500k.

Actually, he's in trouble now, along with Cody.

Christine grabbed Nic quick to make sure all the blame for last night's flip fell on D & C. If I'm right that Frankie, Christine, Zach, and Caleb are at least voting together, and Christine can pull Nic over, Derr & Cody are outnumbered, even with Vic's vote.

Where does this put Donny?

Nicole apoligizing to the cameras (us) now for ever not trusting Christine.

Christine has game..
Meh . . . I think you are giving too much credit to Nicole. I'll be more impressed if/when she takes down one of the big players like Cody, Derick or Frankie
Not giving Nicole any credit. She blew it, plain and simple, and her game might be over now.

If you meant giving Christine too much credit.. she has lied to Nicole, defied her (not using POV), and thrown her under the bus this past week, not to mention people have been warning Nicole pretty early on not to trust Christine,, yet here Nicole is minutes after the house flipped on her and her closest ally has been blindsided, apologizing for not trusting Christine and feeling Cody/Derrick are to blame for all this.

Maybe she was lucky and it all fell in to her lap, but last night Hayden/Donny/Nicole were gunning for Christine. Tonight they are blown up and Nicole is leaning Christine's way.

You can also credit the upcoming tension between Nic and Zach to Christine for ratting Nic/Hay/Don out to him which got him fired up.

Can't believe Caleb didn't go for a backdoor with his replacement. It was the perfect opportunity to take out a strong player. He's playing a god awful game. He had the opportunity to redeem himself for being terrible.

This season continues to suck ###.

Christine/Nichole are hoh winners. Of course the nominations being throw out are C/D/V/Z the same ole ####### people. Of course Nicole doesn't want to get"blood on her hands". JFC Nicole they just ####ed you on national tv, sent your bf out the door and are coming after you first chance they get. Way to go down as one of the dumbest players in bb history. Go big or go home at this point.
