This fella deserves his own thread......A 31 year old rookie who got called up May 5th after 11 yrs. in the minors and has safely hit in every game he's played, that's who!!!....Guy rakes! Gotta Love it!
Just interviewed on WGN, really seems to be enjoying the moment and the experience of being a Chicago Cub. He talked about awareness of his role on any team as a utility player and has talked about simply continuing his good at bats and taking good swings. He has helped tremendously in this period of injuries and slumps. I hope he continues to succeed and can carve a niche on this team for the rest of the season.

I was just reading an article about him and how when he was in the San Diego organization he got passed over by the the likes of Sean Burroughs and Josh Barfield.
