I got good touch, then didn't do anything with Moxxi for like 15 levels. Went back today as a level 31, tipped her $1000, and she gave me Bad Touch. Yea, one $1000 tip. That was it. It took me like $54000 to get Good Touch.Does anybody know if it is possible to get both the Moxxi Good Touch and Bad Touch? I tipped her around 15 grand yesterday and got the Bad Touch, came back a few hours later and tipped like 36 grand and got nothing. TIA
yeah, im expecting death at the slaughterhouseIs the varkid proportional to your level, or is he always near 50?Begining of the caverns in play through 2 Good luck with the Hyperior slaughterhouse. I cruised through levels 1-3 and got stuck at level 4. I had to work through a bit of play through 2 and then went back with a stronger character.Do you remember where in caustic caverns? Is a level 31 asking for death? I'm going to try the hyperion slaughterhouse, found frank's easy about 7 levels ago, but other than that all I have left is The Talon of God.Ok that was ultra coolI was in Caustic Caverns on second play through. In the distance I noticed a badass varkid fighting a crysilisk. So I pulled out my sniper weapon and started pinging him. Before I could kill him he podded and leveled up. He went right back to fighting the crysilisk which he could not kill.So I repeated the sniping letting him level up. He leveled up a few times into something called Vermivorous The Invincible (Supreme Badass Varkid)He never attacked me. It took a thousand or so snipes but he finally died. I was able to replace all 4 weapons from his drops when I was level 47. He dropped them all in the caustic waters so it took a while. In looking him up, he actually has twice the hit points as Terramorphous and is considered a raid boss even if there is no quest associated with him.
I was in playthrough 2 when I encountered the bad ### version of the varkid (I was probably level 42 or so). I think he was something like a level 38 when he started and through multiple morphs ended up at a level 48 if memory serves. It was really pure luck that it happened though. Read through the web page I linked earlier that shows how you can grow him if you are strong enough to withstand him.yeah, im expecting death at the slaughterhouseIs the varkid proportional to your level, or is he always near 50?Begining of the caverns in play through 2 Good luck with the Hyperior slaughterhouse. Zer0. 100% solo play, no co-op. Level 31, still on my first playthrough. Definitely a finesse character. If you let yourself get cornered, you can be toast. But sniping is fun. It's always the first character type I choose in any game that has it as an option. What characters are you guys playing?
I'm a lvl 33 gunzerker and play co-op with a friend who is zero. I act as the tank while he sits behind cover, hopefully, and snipes. I sometimes get in trouble, but the instant reheal of gunzerker usually gets me out of it. Because of that setup I usually focus on shields that have minimal regen delays and high regen rates over high capacity. Zero can't withstand the direct impact and if we get flanked heavily, or I get bypassed, its usually bad news for him.'Ignoramus said:What characters are you guys playing?I started one game with the gunzeker (damn autocorrect doesn't like that word) which was a lot of fun and the healing was nice. I played zero for a bit co-op and died a ton compared to a similarly-leveled commando I was playing with. Now I'm trying Maya. Early on the phase shift is pretty cool. I think I'm going to go with the elemental damage skill tree.
it depends. If you want to kill Terramorpheus as you mentioned earlier, you will likely need to do play through 2 in either case to get your character to level 50 and max out your equipment the best you can.Should one playthrough it again or move on to the DLC (same character)?
I am a level 48 Zero right now. As the game progressed I used significantly more and more of the melee assassin power than I did earlier in the game.I guess the trouble I was having with zero was trying to use him as the melee assassin rather than sniping.
My friend tried that, but died repeatedly. He still does it when flanked, but he can't withstand the continuous onslaught.I guess the trouble I was having with zero was trying to use him as the melee assassin rather than sniping.
level 50 gear. And you are a long long long way from being able to kill terramorphous. Unless you have a bee shield and conf. call shotgun. Even then I'm guessing at level 33 the damage would be too low for you to do it on your ownJust finished it with a friend by killing the warrior. Outside one/two times I never got close to dying (never had to get second wind) whereas my friend had to be revived numerous times. Thankfully I had an ammo-regen mod, and gunzerker ammo regen capability for myself, as one/both of us would have run out of ammo. Ended up getting the Impaler, but only one gun was worth grabbing. I looked Impaler up, and sounds pretty cool. How are people getting such huge capacity shields? The Impaler I got has a ~4500 capacity (lvl 33, with health ~8000).
I want to go kill Terramorphous now.

no, he is the RAID boss of the game. He can one shot kill you even at level 50, much less if you try and take him on in the 30's.He isn't proportional to your level?level 50 gear. zero struggles in small spaces. But anywhere else he seems pretty powerful as he can one shot kill almost anything outside of a boss with melee if you build him that way.My friend tried that, but died repeatedly. He still does it when flanked, but he can't withstand the continuous onslaught.I guess the trouble I was having with zero was trying to use him as the melee assassin rather than sniping.

The best thing I found when finally beating level 4 was to simply hide when the flying things come in droves. Eventually they get stuck in the rails or in the mountain side etc, just watch your screen for the red dots that stopped moving. As soon as you see one stop get out from hiding, kill it quick, then rinse and repeat.Tried the hyperion slaughterhouse. Made it to round 4 and after dying twice we (SoCalBroncosFan, friend, and myself) decided to make it a night. Last time we died I feel it was mostly my fault as I went to far forward and got slaughtered. I revived, but they had moved to far forward from their positions of cover (both snipers) and were killed in turn. Those damn flying things suck, but found my corrosive shotgun to be the most effective against them.
Is this the one in the Ore Chasm? I just discovered it yesterday. Haven't had a chance to enter. I don't enjoy the slaughterhouse thing, but want to do it once to at least log off the location. The best thing I found when finally beating level 4 was to simply hide when the flying things come in droves. Yes. It is the area behind the Robot guy who wants to be human. If you did not like Fink's playhouse, you will hate this one. Think Finks with significantly harder guys, no ammo and more waves to complete a level. Not easy at all.Is this the one in the Ore Chasm? I just discovered it yesterday. I may just walk in and right back out then. Doesn't seem like these things were made for snipers or sirens. Seems like they were made with Gunzerkers in mind.Yes. yeah, lvl 4 is just an entirely different level of difficulty. I am lvl 33.'GTBilly said:What level were you guys tackling Hyperion Slaughterhouse at. I breezed through 1 and 2 last night as a level 34 Commando but you guys say that the first 3 are easy and 4 is nasty.
I was around 33 or so. I got through the first three levels with only two deaths (one I ran off the cliff by mistake), but once I got the 4th, I think I died 15 times before giving up and deciding to get better caustic weapons before coming back around level 37.The ammo you will chew through in level 5 is amazing.'GTBilly said:What level were you guys tackling Hyperion Slaughterhouse at.
