Broncos Look For Running Backs In Free Agency

(AP) DENVER With the NFL's free agency period starting Friday, the Denver Broncos are expected to be looking for running backs.

The Denver Post reported that the team also will be considering trades for Chicago's Thomas Jones and Buffalo's Willis McGahee, who are expected to be available.

Salary caps could force teams to cut some quality backs, creating additional possible deals.

The Broncos also will be watching for possible backup quarterbacks. Neither Jake Plummer nor the team has indicated whether he plans to return after being replaced by Jay Cutler.
