I never had candy growing up. I'd see it at the convenience store when we paid for gas. We had tootsie rolls at school if we were good or got a really good grade on something. But I never really had it. Then I went off to college and dated a stoner. I'd never smoked, either. And she was proficient at both. Totally blew me away.
