***OFFICIAL*** Carlos Beltran vs Albert Pujols HR tracker (3 Viewers)

When you hit your second HR of the season, and that is the lead crawl on ESPN, and it's not say, the second inning of the first game of the season, that is a sure sign that your season is not going according to plan.

5/18 update:

Beltran: 13

Pujols: 3

Pujols with back to back nights where he hits a homer. Hopefully Beltran is back this weekend in LA. Craig day-to-day with hammy issues, so perfect time for Beltran to get back at crushing.

The lead crawl on Booyah? Was Bryce Harper not playing last night?

5/24 update:

Beltran: 14 (.302/.406/.624)

Pujols 5 (.225/.268/.357)

Both with homers last night...not sure that's happened before last night.

Is it safe to assume Pujols has never had a 6-week stretch with a .505 OPS (or lower)?

I'm also assuming the "Miggy went through the same thing" stuff is over. Miggy's AL "adjustment period" was a 5 HR/.829 OPS April.

I still wouldn't bet against a 30/100 season for Albert, but this is just brutal.
Would be shocking at this point IMO.
He broke out of his 6-week funk 10 days ago. He's already now on pace for 21 HRs and 87.5 RBI.His OPS on May 14 was .510. It's now .646. Slugging went from .275 to .373.

I think 30/100 is back in play.
