***Official CFB NCG Thread: Ohio wins; Joe T shamed once again*** (2 Viewers)

I know I've dogged the Jackets in the past, but this team is really good this year. I get why you find Paul Johnson frustrating at times, but this offense is a pain in the ### on short weeks and even difficult with multiple weeks if you have this kind of talent.
I've been vocal in my frustration but we are what we are. Entertaining to watch with athletes that are very good but not elite (mostly). The frustration has been that Johnson seemed to ignore the defense (both recruiting and coaching) and the team never seemed to execute as well as his Navy teams did. Ultimately this offense is mostly about QB play and Thomas has been better than anyone expected. And Roof has the defense playing somewhat better.

It was huge for him to beat UGA this year - even more so than if he beat FSU.

Why doesn't the defense ever leave a guy short on those plays too. They have extra players and since the short guy is just there for a tip, he could just tackle him as soon as the ball is tipped.

Ha - you would think that after Richt took so much heat for the kickoff against Tech that he would have kicked it deep. Coaches really do overthink #### a lot.

seriously, how are these stupid cowbells allowed in the stadiums? don't get it Am I allowed to take an air horn into the stadiums now?

Google is your friend.
sounds like a lot of work to figure out why a bunch of hillbillies are allowed to play with cowbells in the stadium :kicksrock:
What part of South Carolina are you from? ...Staten Island?
I'm not from South Carolina

Stereotype much?
no
Well, it's obvious you were in your post above.

I still have doubts about SC.

UGA was damn good this year, pretty good win there.

They seem to getting a little more competitive each year, and right now I think they can hang with about anyone. Not bad IMO.

Mississippi and South Carolina, two of the last five states I'd ever live in. ;)
I'm from Mississippi and I agree. That's just my roots. I'd never move back. My family is there and visiting is enough. As far as SC, Charleston is quite wonderful.
I've been to all the southern states. I like Alabama and Tennessee best, North Carolina nice too especially Asheville.

I've lived in MS for the past 14 years. I pretend I've been wrongly convicted of a felony.
wrongly?
I pretend I've been justly convicted of a felony??

Lol....what city? And trust me, I know what you mean.

How is it humanly possibly that #22 DIDN'T push him out of bounds?
Never mind; I have the answer. It was the laziest attempt at a "tackle" you'll ever see.
I thought the argument that Cowbell State had 4 weeks to prepare as a justification for them winning, to be flawed. Anyone who has watched Ga Tech this year and in past years under Johnson, sees a different team this year. Also, Miss State doesn't have athletes like LSU or Alabama on defense. Not sure why people think all these SEC schools are the same, they definitely aren't.

Asheville and Nashville are the best cities of the south.

Ridgeland. Oddly enough, I've driven through Ridgeland SC on my way to Beaufort SC - a very nice locale.
