***Official CFB NCG Thread: Ohio wins; Joe T shamed once again*** (1 Viewer)

Aside from the ball slipping out of his hands, Cardale Jones has been phenomenal. Is there anything even close to a comp to what Jones has done in his first three games? Assuming OSU goes on to win here...the dude came in and led his team to a Big 10 title, a comeback win against a powerhouse Alabama team and then a National Title?

I can't even think of the adjectives or a paragraph description that would do it justice.
He's going to have the greatest 3 game NCAA career in history.

He pretty much HAS to go pro now, right?
I believe he is ineligible to go pro. The bigger question is...how does he not start for OSU next year?

He's eligible.

Now Oregon's gonna do what they should a done all game - stop with the stupid runs up the middle and the zone read and fling it around the ####### field.

Have to think he is an early Heisman front runner for next year, if he can't go pro.

They would have to promise him the starting job and slide some cash under the table at this point.

Mariota looks robotic on his passes. Too slow of a motion and no zip. 5th round talent.
:lmao:
He's not going in the first
:lmao:
He's going in the first because NFL teams are desperate for a QB.
He should go...

Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain’t come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS

Except the guy in front of him finished 5th in the Heisman voting this year

Please clarify. He is a sophomore. Wasn't Mike Williams a sophomore when he tried to go pro? Did Jones red shirt or something?

I think so. He's 3 years out High School so he can go pro.

Just looked him up on Wiki and it says he has been on OSU since 2012. So, I believe you are right and I stand corrected.

cant possibly punt here with the way OSU is running it down their throat. There's basically ZERO chance of a 3 and out which means you're losing a minimum of half the clock (or all your time outs) if you give OSU the ball back.

Gotta go for it.

Mariota won the Heisman and he looks like the 2nd best QB in this game.

Brutal decision.

This Ohio State QB is very good, but some of you guys are going way overboard IMO. He's not the key to this victory. It's the lines. Particularly the Ohio State offensive line, just dominating the LOS.

...who was behind a guy that finished in the top 10 the year before that.
