***Official CFB NCG Thread: Ohio wins; Joe T shamed once again*** (1 Viewer)

So the NFL game that started 20 minutes later and went to OT has now finished while the storied Camellia Bowl still has most of fourth qtr left.

Loved that PBP guy freaking out about BGU getting that XP off in time. It was snapped with 4 seconds on the play clock.

Mr. Overthrow strikes again! And again and again! And the play where he was afraid of the 14 yard line was hilarious.

Ready for a Bowling Green score so I can go to bed

Loved that suicidal look on the face of the 15-year-old South Alabama fan because his team fell short in the Raycom Media Carmela Soprano Bowl.

2 pm bowl game today? Why? 5 pm going into MNF seemed like a better idea.

Oh well, lots if offense so far in this one.

If its anything like the Carmelita (Come Out Tonight) bowl its should leave barely enough time to throw a burger down your throat before a segue right into MNF

I'm on the train to nowhere. Who won?
Memphis. 55-48 in 2OT. The Memphis kicker hit a 55-yarder in OT to tie it up. Then Memphis scores, and BYU throws a pick on the next possession.

Massive fight ensues. BYU guy winds up with a gash under his eye from pummeling. The fight was pretty bad by football standards. An out-of-control melee, really.

Just an all-around barn burner of a game.

Memphis' future NFL kicker overcame Bronco Mendenhall's shrewd tactics to sink an extra point to send this thing to OT, then hit a kick that would have been good from 83 yards to make a game tying 55-yarder in OT. Then Memphis decided it would just be easier to score a TD and win in the 2nd OT, so they did.

ETA: And then I missed a fight apparently. Dammit.

You forgot the part where BYU drives to the 50 and runs out of time...if only Mendenhall could have figured out how to stop that clock.

That FG was awesome. Young kickers are getting taller and leaner...like Bamas punter...or the 16 year old who blows his drives 50 yards by me at the club.

Interesting SC highlights with the pro football crew. I think if you took the corporate training wheels off of all these guys, they'd have something worthwhile to say. That last segment was pretty good with Young, Dilfer, and Lewis, and not because of the obligatory condemnation of the end; but rather, what they sort of bring to bear on the issue.

Interesting.

Yeah I missed the fight too. WTF BYU? We know Memphis isn't better than that, but BYU?
I "know a guy" that would know who says BYU actually carries quite the reputation inside the college football world. Says the Cougars of the biggest #### talkers in the country, and have been for years.

Doesn't matter what name is on the back, the NIU kicker is guaranteed to suck in a bowl game. :X
