Congrats OSU....great win for a great program.

A let down not getting Oregon v Alabama...OSU is not a bad sub...but won't be the same.

Nope, won't be the same. Will be better.

Which is nice to get to see better football I would think :shrug:

I guess I prefer seeing two teams with competent QBs. Oh yeah, and my Luckeyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alabama saved themselves an embarrassing loss, IMO. The way OSU moved the ball on that soft defense, Oregon would have carved them up and put up 50+ on Bama.

I totally agree. We go out in a hard fought battle. It was a good game and we hung in there.

Oregon is on a different level right now. This isn't a traditional Alabama team with 4-5 guys that are about to be drafted in the first round this upcoming draft. Soft defense, weak QB, and as it turns out, weak conference.

 
Surprised to read that the Taxslayer (nee Gator) Bowl has sold 60,000 tickets. Supposedly a lot of Volunteer fans made the trip.

 
The villainous Winston and FSU defeated? Check.

SEC humbled across the board? Check.

OSU humiliated (again)? We're an Oregon blowout away from the perfect bowl season IMO.

 
Would like to see someone win that hasn't before. No hard feelings Buckeye fans, but I hope the Quack Attack strikes early and often. Go Ducks!

I know a lot of people that have become Duck fans just because they could not stand the other 3 teams.

 
I really don't like tOSU very much but it would be awesome to see them win this thing after all the none sense that they didn't belong. Especially since it would require them knocking off the golden favorites of both Bama and Oregon.

I have absolutely no dog in this fight. Typically I would pull against all things OSU, but the obnoxious level of the Duck fans coming out of the woodwork here is pretty high. Still think I'll be pulling for the Ducks as every fanbase deserves to experience success, but man, I'm not sure how tolerable this is going to be.

ETA: By "here" I mean in my local area, not the FFA. Level in the FFA has been consistent for a long time.
