***Official CFB NCG Thread: Ohio wins; Joe T shamed once again*** (2 Viewers)

Completely classless act by Jim Mora. I want to root for the guy because he's clearly made the Bruins better than they've been in years. And of course I like to win so I want it to continue. But it's awfully tough when your coach is such an #######.

Michigan fans are about to face a similar dilemma...
Nope, not at all. Harbaugh has always shown respect for the game and his opponent. No way he'd ever do that to one of the most revered coaches in CFB, Mora is a jackass at a whole nother level guy.

Sure OK.

Tell me where I'm wrong. When Schwartz attacked him? What else?

Jim Schwartz still disagrees.

He and Carroll had words after a USC/Stanford game but Pete initiated it. He thought Harbaugh ran up the score.

Anyhow apparently Mora was posses that Kansas State called their last time out and then tried to tackle Hundley as he was kneeling. Mora tweeted "I will defend the safety of my players forever," and Hundley tweeted his support.

Not properly shaking another coach's hand after a game has nothing to do with "protectimg your players"; it was an angry reaction. Even if Amora had a right to be upset, it was still classless and in poor taste IMO.

The same guy who got carried off the field as DC after they beat the Lions this year? :lmao:

Try again, Matlock.

Pete was correct.

Harbaugh is a great coach (much better than Mora IMO) but he is also a first class #####. To claim that he has always shown respect for the game and other coaches only tells me you haven't watched the guy very much.

USC was a huge favorite in that game. That was right at the time when people started figuring out that Harbaugh was building something special at Stanford. If Carroll didn't want Harbaugh to run up the score, he should have had his team get some stops.

There is no such thing as "running up the score" on Pete Carroll or USC.

Stick to what you know Tim

Not a ####### thing about football

I can't remember the exact details but Stanford was up something like 40 points and they left their first team in and went for more touchdowns with a few minutes left in order to put up 50.

I have to admit I loved it. But Harbaugh was still a ##### for doing it.

i won the college football bowl pool last year. (Not this year though).
Some chick is winning mine this year. Congrats?

I have no doubt, Dr. Detroit, that your overall knowledge about football is fine, much better than me. I love discussing football but I don't pretend to understand it- I don't.

However/ if you honestly believe that Jim Harbaugh is a classy dude you're just wrong. He's among the least classy coaches currently out there.

I didn't say he was classy, but he wouldn't have done that #### to Snyder who deserves as much respect as anyone in the game. Mora should have felt honored to have beat a Snyder coached team, instead he acted like a dooshnozzle for whatever reason. Snyder has a ####### stadium named after him!

i never said he would have dissed Snyder either, though frankly, given his history, it wouldn't surprise me. All I wrote is that as a UCLA fan it's tough to have the first good coach in a long while consistently behave like a jerk, and that's something Michigan fans will learn as well.

No, Michigan fans know Harbaugh well. Harbaugh was a Big Ten Player of the year, an all Pro and MVP runner-up, and is in the Colts ring of honor. He also has coached a team to a Super Bowl and been great wherever he's coached. He has an ego, that ego makes him unlikeable to guys like Jim Schwartz. So what? Harbaugh went to shake hands with both Schwartz and Carroll and they both weren't happy with him. He complains to the officials a lot, but again...that's a big difference from being completely disrespectful to the game.

So stop preaching about what Michigan fans will find out. Michigan fans have an uber competitive coach with an ego, not some two bit Alamo Bowl winning coach who has never won a significant game as a head coach and is only in the game because his daddy was a famous coach. You should hope he leaves UCLA, he's a disgrace and frankly not really that great of a coach.

Yep

Interesting matchup at noon tomorrow between East Carolina's offense and Florida's defense. ECU piles up the yards and points but most of it has come against opponents in the American conference. Do we expect them to go up and down the field on the Gators?
No. Florida's defense is outrageous. I guess they could come out and quit but if they are focused they should dominate BCU's offense.

The Gator offense on the other hand......unbelievably bad.

Who left the door open to Tim's thread anyway? That person should be put down. It was working beautifully and then the last couple pages happened.

That door was only for politics champ. And in any case it was Dr Detroit acting absurd here not me. I wrote nothing objectionable.

That would be me Sparky.

ECU players keep doing that Gator chomp thing. Funny ####.

Game's over, btw, Gators got no pride. Who's next?
