***Official CFB NCG Thread: Ohio wins; Joe T shamed once again*** (1 Viewer)

I didn't say he was classy, but he wouldn't have done that #### to Snyder who deserves as much respect as anyone in the game. Mora should have felt honored to have beat a Snyder coached team, instead he acted like a dooshnozzle for whatever reason. Snyder has a ####### stadium named after him!
Felt honored? Give me a break. He beat his team and Mora would have stopped to chat him up had Snyder not called a timeout on third down (but not first or second) and then instructed his player to dive over the pile and spear Hundley on the last play of the game.

But, he's old as dirt and won a bunch of games, so I guess Mora shouldn't have been angry. I guess Tom Coughlin was a ####, too, for going ape #### on Schiano when the latter did the same bull #### move against the giants two years ago.

I agree with all of this
:hifive:

Glad you didn't take the dumb/blind homer approach like Tim. Mora shut his twitter down too, I'm sure my contribution was well appreciated.

Seriously, though, Jim L. Mora is probably the greatest head coach in college football history. I was just :fishing: to get a rise out of Tim. Good luck to the Bruins moving forward as they are well positioned to dominate the college football landscape.
:hifive: I'm glad we could resolve this like some gentlemen.

tOSU has a good shot tonight. Meyer may have sold his soul to the devil, but he's a hell of a coach. I think they give the Oregon offense problems and he has them prepared.

Really, I'm just hoping C. Jones doesn't get hurt or look like a 3rd stringer tonight so the game is actually good.

I don't think he'll look like a 3rd stringer, but if he got hurt this game will be :tfp:

In case it hasn't been said yet. Both of the uniforms Oregon has put out for these playoffs = FAIL.

I expected more from them.

College football has no losers tonight. No SEC team even in the Championship game, and not having to listen to the talking heads spout, "SEC IS THE BEST!!!" God Bless America!

Fans of the teams must be bouncing off the walls right now. I can barely stand it and I hate these teams.
Oddly calm, but lost my appetite.
I remember hearing Tom Coughlin talking about keeping his teams at an even keel as much as possible 4, 3, 2 hours before the game. Games like this can turn to blowouts if teams expend too much energy before the game even starts. I think in the pros it's a lot easier to keep these guys somewhat calm, but in college some guys are gonna spin themselves into the ground before the game starts.

How big of a lead does Oregon need for us to see the "over" post?

What about tOSU?

Going to be interesting to see how much holding is called tonight. Saw a tweet by Daniel Jeremiah today where he said:

Watching Oregon's offense & 2 things jump off the tape: Royce Freeman is extremely talented & the offensive line holds on almost every play

Later expounded:

@coreyelvis I'm not talking about the grey area stuff..I'm talking about bear hug borderline tackling guys every play.

Can Urban Meyer get the refs to call those and not only put Oregon in tough down and distances, but slow their attack as well?

I was at the Big 12 Championship game between OU/NU a few years back, that place can get surprisingly loud (wouldn't know it from Cowboys games).

This is true about their holding. Seem to always get away with it though.

'Bama couldn't play in this game. Their punter would be knocking balls off the big screen.
