Something like a field promotion in the military. One would think someone within a semester or two of graduation knows more than enough to help people ... what they'd really benefit from is experience in the field. Baptism of fire for them, though.

Not sure they are afraid of the virus as much as afraid of hoarders taking all supplies before they have a chance to stock up for extended seclusion.

Unfortunately this is correct. My state is sitting at #5 on the number of US cases ahead of states like Texas and Florida. That isn't because we are so flush with international travelers here in Colorado--it is because our Governor Polis saw the handwriting on the wall early on when we just had 13 cases and declared a Statewide Emergency. We are testing. We have drive--thru testing already in place.

But all this will be for naught if our neighboring states don't follow suit.  :(

I think if it's a small group all healthy kept close by it should be ok. Schools may not reopen when we hope. Their mental health is important.

Doesn't help you are the state people are rushing to in order to stock up on "other" supplies.

I know that some people who had close contact with the cluster of 6 positives at Nova University in Davie Florida are still struggling with where to get tested, do they qualify, and who will pay. I think the University will eventually take care of it.

 
1100 crew members left on that SF ship. Union members saying it's building a petri dish. Those infected are off but are saying all need to be tested. Newsom wants ship out of Oakland. Is scheduled to depart tomorrow though not clear where since this argument is going on. So what will happen to the crew is unknown right now.

No one! Should be left on a jail boat that is contaminated.  Ridiculous we even have to think about this.

 
We think we know that the most infected group are people in their 20s. Italy is only testing people who are symptomatic but Korea is testing everyone. In Italy, the numbers of positive cases for 20s is real small but in Korea, it represents the plurality of all positives. This makes sense as people in their 20s are healthy and the least likely group to take any precautions. 

In other words, stay away from young adults. 

 
Recommending kids be put on a daily schedule. Have their day planned out in writing for them.

Get up 9, breakfast at 9:30, school whatever it's scheduled for, lunch at noon, fresh air outside at 2:00..... This should help them and you deal easier if things are kept clear and in a routine just like it is on school days.

@SammyHudes: BREAKING: In an email to part-time and event staff, CSEC (owner of the Flames/Hitmen/Roughnecks) says those employees will not be paid for cancelled shifts beyond this past Thursday.

I’ve obtained a copy of the full email and will have a story up in the morning.
