I'll go ahead and start. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the teams I've put together, but I've been completely wrong on a couple guys. The #1 overall on that list goes to:

1. Ronnie Brown--Color me absolutely shocked. I was absolutely positive that Ricky was going to be the more effective runner by far, Ronnie was not going to be healthy as most owners had hoped, and that the loss of Cam Cameron was going to have a huge impact on him. 100% dead wrong. Those who gambled on Ronnie are getting paid big time.

2. Ryan Grant--While he hasn't been a total bust, I really expected more than what he's done so far. I still think there's hope for him, but I'm not nearly as convinced as I was earlier.

3. McNabb--He's looked like a completely different QB to me. i avoided him like the plague and he has been sharp week in and week out.

4. Jamal Lewis--What was supposed to be a huge value for a RB2 has now turned into a complete wasted pick so far. I couldn't wait for him to prove all the people that laughed at taking him wrong. I'm not laughing now.

5. Torry Holt--I figured his huge fall this year was going to be a huge value pick much like Jamal above. Again, not getting a whole lot of return in that investment. I do think he can definitely turn it around with the coaching change if they committ to get the ball in his hands as they have promised, but I won't be holding my breath.

6. Kevin Smith--Really thought he could make a big impact this year, even on the Lions. All I can say is... :towelwave:

So, who have you been dead wrong about?

Michael turner - thought the falcons wouldnt be good enough to keep him involved, so i guess in a lot of ways I was wrong about matt ryan too.

Santonio holmes - thought he would be a lot better than he has been, he is getting some yards just not any tds

Matt forte - same with turner, didnt think the bears would have enough offense to make a rb that valuable on their team

Chargers team - Way worse than i would have thought in total

Tarvaris Jackson - I was in the minority and didn't count on him in fantasy world but thought he would be enough to move the vikes forward

Matt Forte; I thought he'd be very uninspiring.Ray Rice. It's like he just evaporated.Tarvaris Jackson. For some reason, I thought he'd made real strides in the preseason.

QB Garrard(His problems are mainly due to freakish offensive line injuries, though), Schaub

RB Forte, Turner -- felt both were overprojected

TE Heap, Crumpler

WR Calvin Johnson, Marshall -- Felt both wouldn't live up to the hype; Anthony Gonzalez -- Thought he'd be much more of a factor

1. Forte & The Bears in General

2. High On Thomas Jones w/ Favre so I traded for him

3. Willis McGahee (Drafted before the knee surgery came out, will try to push for a later draft next year)

4. I missed out on drafting Jason Witten because of how deep TE's are this year, have missed the boat between Scheffler & Shockey's injuries so far this year.

5. Minn D/ST drafted too early because I am a homer who drank the kool aid and assumed Allen was going to solve allllll the D's problems and that has been :goodposting: so far. (Picked up Tenn D/ST off the wire though so it's a wash.)

I thought I was buying low on Chad Johnson this year. Overnight the dude's gone from a perennial top 10 WR to a guy that scratches out three catches a week.

Lee Evans and Roddy White.

I treated them like Kryptonite on draft night, based on past experience with the less-than-dynamic duo.

Oops.

Steve Slaton.

I thought he would turn out to be a career 3rd stringer. Woops.

1. MB3 : thought he was vastly over-rated. Turns out he's a bit ahead of where I thought he'd be.

2. Holt: expected a full comeback type season. Still can happen, but will need some MONSTER #'s soon.

3. CJ3 / LBJ : thought we were seeing the 2nd coming of Quentin Griffin. Scat back ....at best. Oooops.

The Bears offense.

Especially Forte and Ortons productivity.

The Bengals offense.

Especially Palmer being dung, Perry being below average and the oline being a travesty.

Reggie Bush and Ronnie Brown. I wouldn't have touched those guys with a ten foot pole and they're both hot.

Tom Brady having another 40 plus TD year.

Washington Redskins in general

Ladanian Tomlinson and S. Jackson

Isaac Bruce

WR JenningsI thought he was mainly a deep threat who would not do much with Favre gone.
Same here.I'll also add DeAngelo Williams - I figured after a quarter of the season, Stewart would be relegating D-Will to breather/3rd down duty, at best. May be the other way around the way things are going.

MBIII - thought he'd be good, but swore he'd get hurt (TBD....)

Vikes D - saw #1 all the way. Thought we could see records broken with this D

J. Jones - literally laughed at the owner next to me during an auction draft when he paid $ for him

J Lewis - got him with the 40th overall pick and thought it was the steal of the draft

Turner - already said

All the Rookie RB's - thought it would take time for all of them to get it....wrong

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in general. I thought Rodgers would struggle more than he has, but I thought the Packers, as a team, would be better than they are.

Ronnie Brown-I avoided him like the plague. I figured he wouldn't be back from the ACL until the end of the year at best. He has looked solid so far.

Schaub-I thought the Texans would build on their solid season last year, and Schaub would put up good numbers. He looked good in week four, and could turn it around, but I expected more early.

Torry Holt (I drafted him ahead of Steve Smith, Plaxico, Calvin, and Bolden)

MJD

Ocho Cinco

Chicago offense, Forte especially

Roy Williams

Vernon Davis (there were warnings though. Should have gone Daniels instead)

Ted Ginn

Sydney Rice

Guys I should have seen coming better

Rivers (Knew he'd be good, but not THAT good)

Deshawn Jackson (rookie WR? still not fully convinced)

Vincent Jackson (Thought he'd be value, but not this good of value)

Chris Johnson (Definitely electric. Should have listened)

Steve Slaton (looked really good in pre-season, should have followed my gut on him)

Greg Jennings

Michael Turner (knew he was good, but expected Atl to be really bad)

Some guys I was right about:

Cutler, but not to the degree

Cleveland offense, especially Anderson. They were not good down the stretch last year.

Chris Perry

Aaron Rodgers

Felix Jones (he can play, but will he get the touches?)

Isaac Bruce

That's mine. Didn't expect top ten, but also didn't think he wouldn't even rate as a bye week filler. On the positive side, I took Rivers with some trepidation as my 2nd QB.

I am not seeing Michael Turner's name on here much...so everyone was a believer???

I doubt it!

Actually, he was a rather popular sleeper in the preseason from what I remember. Not to the degree of the best overall RB, but then again - I don't think he finishes in the top 5 by season's end - so yeah, I'd say they were more believers than not.

Maroney. I hate to say Yudkin was right about Belichick and him.

I took Ray Rice over Chris Johnson is most of my dynasty leagues. I drank the BMI kool-aid.

Aaron Rogers - I was expecting some cracking and then the resounding implosion.

He has managed to hold it together ok so far, I still may be right and he will lose it when the packers into the abyss behind Minn and Chi and then criticism becomes louder.

1. Ronnie Brown - I succumbed to the belief that it takes at least 1 year to return from an ACL injury and avoided Brown while picking Rickey Williams.

2. Roddy White and Derrick Mason. Didn't want to pick them because of rookie QB's throwing to him.

3. Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards. Thought they'd both be top 10 receivers this year. Could probably add Calvin Johnson here as well.

4. Maurice Jones-Drew - hopefully he'll still turn it around later since Jacksonville's schedule is going to get easier.

I wasn't pimping Keller, but I thought he would make more of an impact this season. Thus, I'll eat some crow.

Kyle Orton - I thought he'd be horrible, although once teams stop placing 8 in the box on every down, his production may shift towards my projections.

Santonio Holmes - I think we all thought he'd be better than this

Cedric Benson - I called him a turd a week ago, now he simply looks like a polished one

Steve Slaton - Didn't think there was a chance in hell he could handle more than 10 touches in any given NFL game, still, time will tell regarding durability

Hasselbeck - I thought he was better than this, regardless of his injured WR core.

Chargers D. Ugh.

Orton - I thought he was utter desperation.

NY Giants - thought they just got hot at the end of the year last year. Um, they look pretty good.

Selvin Young. I will not draft another Shanny RB...I will not draft another Shanny RB...I will not draft...

In my Rookie draft I took Devin Thomas ahead of Desean Jackson, Robert Royal and Steve Slaton. I had already drafted Chris Johnson and really didn't need Slaton but I also didn't think he would perform like he did. I can't say that drafting Thomas will be a long term mistake but who knows.

WR JenningsI thought he was mainly a deep threat who would not do much with Favre gone.

Same here, but I wouldn't be too sure the JStew/DWill situation doesn't still happen. This thread will be funny to come back to by the end of the season to see if the guys people are writing off already still fall into the "bust" or "boom" categories

Vernon Davis.

Thought he'd have more TDs, let alone targets, than pancakes at this point in the season. Never will I doubt those who dub Martz a TE killer.

Vernon Davis and Julius Peppers. I thought they would both be huge this year. I was sad when I didn't get either of them in my draft, but now I'm quite happy how things turned out.

Maroney. I hate to say Yudkin was right about Belichick and him.

I took Ray Rice over Chris Johnson is most of my dynasty leagues. I drank the BMI kool-aid.
:goodposting: I would like to argue that Brady being healthy would've mattered here, but I doubt it.

Marques Colston: I thought he'd be the top scoring WR this year.

Braylon Edwards: I did not see this offense sputtering, and him dropping passes all over the place.

Clinton Portis: I was down on him... thought he would get hurt by a horrid offense.

Lawrence Maroney: I thought the 2007 playoffs would be a springboard to FF success.

Fred Taylor: Thought this would be the year he gave way to MJD.

Ben Utecht: My TE sleeper has completely fallen off the map in an underperforming offense.

Matt Ryan: I was actually down on him thinking that anyone who tossed that many interceptions in college would be picked left and right in the NFL.

Sidney Rice: Injuries have interrupted his development.

Jamal Lewis: Thought he looked in great shape in preseason, and thought it would be a great OL/offense.

Players I was wrong about in who I drafted across 4 leagues:

1) Mark Clayton - I thought he was a sneaky pick

2) Kevin Smith

3) Chris Perry

4) The Chargers DST - w/o a healthy Merriman, they just dont get the pressure needed

5) Zach Miller - thought he was a shark pick

6) Ocho Cinco - drafted him in the 6th round of a PPR league - thought he was a steal

7) Randy Moss - I think everyone is familiar with the story here

8) Santonio Holmes - Dude, you are gonna start showing up after the bye, right?

Players I was wrong about which I did *not* draft (and avoided like the plague)

1) Portis

2) Forte

3) Brown

4) Evans

High on and missed:

Chris Perry

Braylon Edwards

Moss

Gaffney

Kevin Smith

Ray Rice

Ocho Cinco

Carson Palmer

Down on and missed:

Brandon Marshall

Forte

Chris Johnson

Cutler

Rivers

Let me add McMichael on here. Even though he got hurt, he showed a faint glimmer early on and then fizzled out into TE obscurity.

Aaron Rodgers - Never thought he would just step in and the Pack not lose a beat on offense.

Greg Jennings - See Rodgers

Brandon Marshall - Didn't think he would approach his insane target total (170) from last year. I believe he may exceed it.

St. Louis Rams Offense - Own SJax in one league, Holt in the other and Bulger in both (at least to start the season). Bad.

Carson Palmer - No need to explain this one.
