Oct. 26, 2007 - 12:37 p.m.

The New York Daily News reports Ward (ankle) did not practice again Friday. He is considered unlikely to play Sunday against Miami.

Fantasy Source spin: There's no reason to worry anymore about Ward this week. Keep him on your bench

According to a report in the Newark Star-Ledger, Giants RB Derrick Ward (ankle) is expected to be sidelined in Week 8 against Miami.

Per Vacchiano's blog today:

As for Ward, he had a setback sometime in the last two weeks and injured his groin, to go along with his injured ankle. Coughlin thought he'd be able to practice today, but he apparently wasn't cleared by the medical staff.
