I think that's a pretty broad brush.  Maybe it's because I'm in a definite "Trump State" but I have met a number of normal, regular old average Joes and Janes who support Trump for the nomination.

No, they don't generally agree with all of his ideas, and yes they generally have some racist tendencies - but we all have some racist tendencies. I've discussed in the past the sort of fundamental attribution error method people use for labeling Trump supporters as racist vs. Dems as "speaking incorrectly" or something similar, but I don't think "all Trump supporters" are any more racist than "all Louisianans."

The "us vs. them" stuff isn't all that far off of Sanders supporters, or Clinton supporters.  Very invested political supporters often get that way.

Feel free to show me a clip of Trump condemning the guy who threw the sucker punch. Or of you condemning him. Or any Trump supporter. All I remember was seeing you guys say the guy was antagonizing and had it coming. Just like this 15 year-old is a psycho because she attacked a guy who thought it was ok to grope her.

Show the video of the guy groping her. Post some quotes of Trump supporters on here praising the guy for sucker punching. I'll wait.

They were in absolute support of the guy who threw the sucker punch. As MOP said about the 15-year old, they said he was asking for it by being there.

Then of course the following night things got crazy when Dems protested Trump, and the next day those very same people were all "WHY WON'T HILLARY/BERNIE STOP INCITING VIOLENCE!?! LIBS ARE SO VIOLENT!"

It's almost as if they think people don't see the hypocrisy...

This seems to be a common argument. But this guy seems to be fitting the narrative to his selection, not the other way around. He's talked himself into Trump. It sort of reminiscent of the tea party. "They just want to say f you to it all". Ok, f you, now what?

For clarity on the last post - Junior said he remembered people saying he was antagonizing and had it coming.  The quote posted above seems to support that recollection.

 
What the left likes to do, and they are attempting to do it here right now is get us to attack our own. Okay thats fine when they deserve it, but let me ask you guys on the left this one question, when do you ever attack your own? I RARELY see people on the left criticize black lives matter as a racist hate group, and instead they glorify their disgusting behavior.

Just for the record I saw him say at some rally or debate that he didn't want to fund PP for the abortions but they provided other services to women he was in favor of giving government assistance to.

The protester who got sucker punched fave the crowd the double bird, and was swearing and cussing people out.  Act like an inciteful **** don't be surprised when someone takes it up a notch.  Frankly I'm surprised there hasn't been a lot more violence given the pos protesters and their tactics.

You're proving my poinnt.  Mob mentality. You guys consider yourselves brothers for a cause.  even when you see a real pu*** act like a guy jumping out of his seat to blindly sucker punch a guy, you can't criticize him. Because you think you're breaking some Trump brothers code.  And maybe this girl was groped and maybe she wasn't. We don't know that. But to say she had it coming and call her a psycho without even consider that her story may be the truth, is disgraceful., I would think the fathers in all of us would hold off judgement until we know more. But the Trump Brotherhood even outweighs that. Sickening.

LOL  You are a perfect example. A guy giving the finger deserves to be punched?  I guess I could see it if he was in someone's face and THAT GUY punched him. But some coward getting out of his seat and doing it when the guy is walking up the steps and leaving?

I and many Trump supporters think the guy that did the sucker punch was wrong, but I also think the guy flipping everyone off was an ahole as well.

The "she had it coming" was in reference to the pepper spray for attacking an old man IF she wasn't groped.

The guy was inciting violence, infringing on people's right to assemble and hear someone speak, telling people to "f$&@ off", and then made an obscene gesture.  An 80 year old guy had enough and smacked him in the mouth, and was arrested for it.  I really don't have a problem with any of it.

I know you don't. That's my point.  He was being escorted out of the facility because of his behavior. The sissy could have at least confronted him so the guy was ready. It takes a real man to punch someone when they're not looking at you.

I didn't know BLM was affiliated with the Clinton and Sanders campaigns. In fact, I seem to remember them interrupting both at their own rallies. You're not very good at this.

Sanders and Clinton pander to them all the time, so until they disavow them, supporting either of them is like supporting the BLM movement. Do you agree the BLM movement is violent and racist, though?

Show me the video of BLM members assaulting people and I'll be the first to denounce them and their violence.

And not coincidently, it was after that sucker punch that Trump never even condemned, that the protesters threatened their own violence and scared Donnie into cancelling his rally. Violence breeds violence. Especially when your ring leader is the one encouraging it.

Truly disgusting that someone running for President can say things like this and still be considered a "viable" candidate by some.

All political leanings aside, anyone who talks like that is simply unfit to be the leader of the greatest country on earth.

I usually like to laugh at this thread but things are becoming pretty sickening. A 15 year old girl was injured and allegedly sexually assaulted (according to the police) and we have a discussion like this going on.....
