what was so "wishy washy" about Trump's stance on abortion? from the video I watched, he said he was pro-life about 3 times. very clearly stated his position. Is the criticism coming from something else? different video?
Lessee - punish women for legal abortions, punish women for illegal abortions, don't punish women, won't say if abortion is murder, will say abortion is murder, is not for changing the law because the law is set, let the state's handle it but not to change the law, but after he's president he will try to change the law. He said all these things in 72 hours. That's not wishy washy that's clueless.

If Trump has been preparing for his candidacy for several years, as has been alleged, then his poor grasp of the issues facing the country is even more comical and pathetic. I guess we're not at the point yet where the majority of the electorate is an avid consumer of reality shows.

There's really no excuse for him to be as uninformed as he is. His earlier comment about killing terrorist's family members was atrocious. Until someone advised him that it was a war crime. Then his staff backpedals for him. And we've witnessed a ton of backpedaling this past week.

Trump: 'Very massive recession coming.'  We can't keep people because of the abundance of jobs out there (for people with an IQ).
Trump: 'Unemployed is more like 20%. Yeah maybe if you count the losers that are on welfare, those faking injuries in order to receiver free $ from the govt., etc.
Trump will also get rid of the 19 T debt within 8 years.  :lmao:

Pulling out all the stops I see, trying to get the hell out of the predicament he's gotten himself into. It's over. I'll still vote for him though because he has no chance to win. Then I can at least blame any problems on the winner and anyone that voted them in.

Sure, he backpedaled.... then a couple weeks later says the Geneva Convention is making soldiers "afraid" to their jobs.

Same guy btw who dodged the draft by inventing a fake medical convention and who claimed that our soldiers getting hit by an IED just meant they would "going for a little ride."

If we're not there yet, we're right on the precipice.  And their numbers are only growing.

TAPPER: Let me ask you about a few social issues because they haven’t been issues you have been talking about for several years. I know you’re opposed to abortion.

TRUMP: Right. I’m pro-choice.

TAPPER: You’re pro-choice or pro-life?

TRUMP: I’m pro-life. I’m sorry.

Probably the fact that both statements are wrong. Ted Cruz doesn't have to get to 1237 to win the Republican nomination. And, therefore, he can win with something fewer than 1237 delegates.
I think it's pretty cleat what the author meant - to those with a brain anyways - that Ted Cruz will be mathematically eliminated from securing the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination outright (ie - on the first ballot).

Waiting for some enterprising reporter to ask Donald what NATO actually stands for.

  When my football team is behind by 8 points with one second left on the clock, I don't want them to quit just because it's mathematically impossible for them to win before the end of regulation.

Donald Trump says nuclear war between Japan and North Korea would be 'terrible... but if they do, they do'

'Japan is better if it protects itself against this maniac of North Korea'
...

- I watched this yesterday, incredible. Donald is now arguing for nuclear proliferation. This candidacy is completely indefensible.

He said this initially to Chris Wallace yesterday but then went ahead and started making it a part of his platform on the train in WI. No one wants this, no one was asking for this, left, right, middle, extreme, anyone.

Yeah the whole thing is silly.  Personally I don't think Rubio should have dropped out when he did.  We are headed to a brokered convention and when that happens all bets are off.  The could nominate someone who wasn't even in the Primaries.  Can't wait for it - gonna be political theater the likes of which this country has never seen.

They're regrouping in their private Facebook group page. Trying to come up with a new strategy. And excuses for the dumb things Trump said all week.
Actually the discussion is on how a meathead like you could be in a picture with a woman like the one you posted.

Obama should have dropped out of the race in 2007 because the polls clearly showed that he could not mathematically beat Hillary Clinton.

Shows there's idiocy on both sides.  I like to believe more people lean toward the middle than the extremes.
The real problem with the extremes is that's what everyone focuses on.  People wasting time on Huckabee or Limbaugh.

Or those protesters above.  I mean, what the heck does a Trump rally have to do with stomping a flag?  Just stupid.  Grandstanding bullsh##

Right

Well today is the day I'm calling it.  Trump has zero chance of being the Republican nominee.

Ultimately, the party didn't want him and so they ratcheted up the pressure to a degree where they knew he would crack and he's cracked.

It didn't take much, but he's a candidate that is slowly leaking support.

I have no idea what will happen at the convention, and I know Ted Cruz would be a horrendous choice, but Trump is too polarizing and barring some big event that shifts momentum he's done.

Like I said...meathead. No mention of intelligence.

Thanks for clearing that up.
Awwww, cheer up, Beav. You can still have hot chicks in your dreams.  :)

Also, you're a Trump supporter. You probably shouldn't be discussing intelligence with anyone. itsatip

He's totally done and that's what he ultimately wanted to begin with. However, he's not done ####### with the party. I mean, what billionaire would ever want to be shackled to the WH for 4 years? He's not the brightest bulb but he is apparently smart enough to hold onto his $.

Ready for that 3rd party run through November. :D   Right now I have him costing the R's the WH. That gives him a win in his mind.

Ivana has Donald's back:

Donald Trump’s ex-wife defended the Republican presidential front-runner’s immigration policies in an interview published in Sunday's New York Post

Ivana Trump said the first step for America to regain respect is adopting the billionaire’s immigration policies.

“And I’m an immigrant,” said Ivana, who was born in the Czech Republic.

“As long as you come here legally and get a proper job … we need immigrants. Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that,” she added.

Oooof.  The Trumps are so in touch with the working class.

The good thing about the Donald's supporters is that no matter what he says or does, they'll continue to come to his rallies and vote for him.  He'll still have the delegate lead by a good margin going into the convention.  What happens at the convention should be supremely entertaining if nothing else.  I guess we have The Donald to thank for making what's usually a fairly standard, boring event, must-watch.

Thanks Donald for finally turning the GOP fully into the circus many of us have thought it's been slowly transforming itself into over the last almost 8 years AP (after Palin).

People keep saying he's done, and I'd love to believe it. But:

1. A national poll over the weekend shows that Trump has actually widened his lead over the other candidates.

2. A Wisconsin poll over the weekend shows that Trump has tightened the race there, from 10 points down to 6 or 7.

So I don't know. Even if he loses Wisconsin, if he wins New York, New Jersey, and California (and he's very much favored in all 3) I still don't see how Trump is denied the nomination, whether or not he comes short of the 1237 needed.

As much as I hated Trump, the man, I always thought it would be a crummy thing to do if the GOP gives the nomination to someone else if Trump has the most delegates. But recently, a couple things happened to change my mind on that.  Trump's lack of knowledge and crazy thoughts about having everyone armed with nuclear weapons is the main one. Trump is dangerously unintelligent and uninformed about international security. He is literally a danger to the entire world.  Secondly, these past couple of weeks, when Trump showed with certainty that he is painfully unqualified, I heard too many of his supporters say that they now realize he's a buffoon, but they're still going to vote for him to prove a point.  Sorry, this isn't an election to a small town school board. Where everyone can get a kick out of electing the town drunk.  These past two weeks have convinced me that the GOP will and should nominate someone else if Trump fails to secure the 1237 delegates.

My cousin from Germany said he prays trump doesn't become president because he will destroy the world :lmao: this is someone from the country that gave us Hitler.

Look at these polls:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/gop_pres_primary/

Wisconsin: On Thursday, Cruz was up by 10 points. On Saturday it was 7 points. On Sunday it was 6 points, and today it's 5 points.

In New York, Trump is up by anywhere from 25 to 35 points.

I'm not saying that Trump is going to win the nomination for sure, but all these assertions that he's done...I'm not seeing the reason for these assertions.
It's definitely tightening.  And I do think the polls are probably skewed a bit in favor of Cruz given that Democratic crossover votes will most likely fall Trump's way.  Trump will definitely get some delegates - my guess is 9 with the other 33 going to Cruz.  Really not as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be.  Trump just needs to steady the ship and not have anymore weeks like last week and he should be fine.  Going to be close as to whether he gets to 1,237.

You're looking at different polls. The first poll in that link has Donald down 4 points in 7 days.

I'm pretty average and have someone who runs the vacuum...By the way she is a legal immigrant from Mexico and she is wonderful.
I'm pretty sure that the number of households who have a cleaning lady is much less than 50%.  Millania had the right idea. Immigrants do a lot of jobs that Americans don't want to do. It's just funny to hear her be so out of touch with the average American. Not surprising though, she sought out someone that would assure her that she would never have to lift a finger.
