An establishment Republican running 3rd party would be about protecting down-ticket candidates. A ton of sane right-leaning folks are going to stay home in November due to the moron at the top of the ticket otherwise. The GOP knows that the race for the White House was over the minute the orange buffoon was nominated. Their priority now is to attempt to limit the inevitable down-ticket bloodbath.
Yeah I agree with that, how much did Obama win by in 2008 and what happened in the House and Senate vs what they are facing now? It's not pretty.

Retaking the Senate is pretty much a given. It remains to see how much ground can be made up in the House given the gerrymandering.

She has absolutely no interest in them other than whoring for their votes and then forgetting who they are the minute the cast their ballot.
Well he hangs out with people who can get ballot access, corporate level fundraising, and large scale advertising in 50 states in a presidential election, so.... he's got that going for him.

Give me an article from National Review, or Townhall, or Forbes, or the Heritage Foundation. I might not agree with it but I'll take it seriously.
