Hey look a Trump thread where everyone that is posting is a leftie.

Why aren't you all in the Clinton thread praising her?  Oh wait, is it because you are just as embarrassed she is your party's nominee?

So Trump is sometimes Conservative and sometimes Liberal on issues.  But the people who don't like him are lefties?

Hillary isn't embarrassing like ####show Donald, whose only semi-legitimate reason for getting any votes is for the whole "I want to blow up the process" line of thought. 

Hillary is just kind of meh. She will be an ok president.

Nobody could possibly do as bad as McGovern did.

 
When Donald Trump began his campaign last year, Eminence was the only one in this forum supporting him. Then as Trump started winning, more and more Trump supporters appeared out of the woodwork. Now his support seems to be waning again, and once again his strongest advocate here is Eminence. 

It's a like a year long episode of Flowers for Algernon.

If Trump somehow wins we get 4 years of him tweeting about how Congress is mean while holding our breath nothing really bad happens.

The real problem for the serious Republican leaders is bigger than Trump- it was there before he ran and it will be there after he (hopefully) loses: what are they to do with their base? Their base who doesn't share their views on trade or illegal immigration, who wants them to shut down the government over Obamacare and refuse to raise the debt ceiling. It was their base who nominated Trump and who is sure to put up more candidates like him in the future- perhaps not as nuts as Trump, but equally as anti-trade and all the rest. What then?

McGovern won D.C. and Massachusetts. I think Trump will win most of the south and fly-over states, probably Idaho too. I think Trump will get >38% of the votes. Too many people hate HRC

Sounds like you respect his tenacity and loyalty.  That's nice.  Glad to see a rapprochement developing between the two of you.  One of the nastiest feuds on the Board, and it's high time you guys bury the hatchet.

Yea the country is too split for any one person to do that poorly in the electoral again. 40% seems about right to me for Trump. I would be relatively shocked if he got to 45.

I assume he put a conversation or text out there as a tweet over she deleted. Either way who cares

I guess so. Do presidents in waiting retweet them? I'd think it's hard to find a fake account with a penchant for misspelling which also praises Donald's speachifying but I guess it happens.
