People judge her decision making on which her job is entitled, I'm sure people would destroy her if She was paid off in Russian money.

 
At least we know, if Trump gets elected their is a sure thing of an uprising coming.

This is a report that not only has he been paid millions but also that he may be getting active income from investments with the Putin oligarchy right now.

Republican Donald Trump should fix his stumbling White House campaign by Labor Day or step down, The Wall Street Journal said on Monday in a sharply worded warning from a leading conservative voice.

"Mr. Trump has alienated his party and he isn't running a competent campaign," the newspaper said in an editorial.

The paper's editorial board, which generally favors Republicans, has been critical of Trump but its warning on Monday was its strongest attack yet and echoed growing anxiety among many Republicans over the state of Trump's campaign.

It's true. Shame on them for reporting all the stupid stuff he says. I mean, they actually quote him word-for-word, exactly as he said it, so everyone can hear the stupidity ringing loud and clear. Isn't the media's job to paraphrase and interpret different meanings in his words so that he can sound less stupid? That's what FoxNews has been doing, and they are "fair and balanced" (they told me so, it must be true).

I suppose. I just think it's all pointless because it won't lead to anything. Like Obama saying he should be dumped. Sure it was newsworthy but it won't lead to anything because the Republican leaders are all spineless gutless weasels.  

 
Ivanka vacationing with Rupert and Putin's is interesting, but I would be a lot more interested in a girl's night out shared between Melania and Wendi.  They have a lot more in common.

I agree that he's not going to drop out, but IMO the response of the Republican Party and Republicans in general (and particularly reputable moderate Republican voices like the WSJ) is the most interesting thing that we have left to talk about for the next three months. The outcome is obvious, and the daily doses of stupidity and outrageousness out of Trump himself and his supporters are pretty stale by now. How the Party tries to limit the damage is interesting and relevant -- and it's also a way that something good can actually come from this ####show if the Party gets the message that Trump happened because of the years of pandering to the anger and resentment of the bottom of the barrel. Hopefully it'll drag the right back toward the center where some meaningful dialogue and compromise can happen. I'm not super hopeful, but you never know.

'I didn't lose. The main steam media is so corrupt that I couldn't win, fairly, like I really would have if they weren't so corrupt, so I am talking my ball and going home'. 'I would have won in a fair election'.

It's a strange situation it's like they have taken a look at the demographics map and decided to piss off any group that is either growing or will vote for more than 50 years into the future.

"Ok, so hispanics are done, they've been thoroughly alienated. We're very very unpopular with African Americans. How about those whining millennials, what can we do to tick them off?"

"A Trump campaign should do the trick."

Dems would be struggling over what to do with "Penn" just like Rs are struggling today.

Who am I voting FOR though?  Kasich or even Bush or Rubio would be an easy call over Penn.  Gingrich? Huck? Cruz?  No chance -- might as well stay loyal if it's whackos no matter what.

Yeah, that's the same thing many R's are saying now. They'd vote for Biden or Kaine -- but Hillary is their Cruz. Smart and competent, but evil incarnate.

ETA:  Having said... once it's clear that Kanye/Penn/etc are destroying the party it becomes a much easier thing to do.  If you're going to lose bad either way you might as well lose bad repudiating them.  I think that's the best argument for ditching Trump.  The party is screwed either way, but history won't be kind re: Trump and it's probably easier in the (very) long run to rebuild if you disassociate yourself.

Do Republicans feel that way about Clinton because of her policies, which have generally been center-left, or because they just hate everything about her persona?

I think most of the distaste for Cruz from the left/Dems is based on policies rather than personality, like 80/20 at least.  Whereas with Clinton I get the feeling that the source of the hatred is more like 80/20 the other way.

I think a lot of Republicans hate Cruz for his personality, so I don't see why Democrats shouldn't also hate him for his personality (even if they additionally hate him for his policies).

I think if you ask a lot of Republicans, they might tell you that they hate Hillary's far-left policies -- just as they'll tell you that they hate Obama's far-left policies -- even though in both cases their policies are in fact generally quite moderate (even center-right according to many on the left).

I do agree that, objectively, Cruz's policies are way more extreme (toward the edge of or even outside the Overton window) than Hillary's are; but when it comes to politics, I'm not sure that objectivity has much to do with anything.

jamny is right here.  A better statement summarizing Trump's positions would be "the vast majority of Mexican immigrants, including every Mexican immigrant I've ever met, is a rapist or a drug dealer."  And "no new Muslims in the country, and all the ones currently here are very suspicious and we have to keep a close watch on them."

A lot of them think she's going to take away their guns.  Also going to appoint liberal justices.  That's what they're telling themselves to sleep at night voting for the despot that is Donald J. Trump.
