you know what, that's the only thing that makes sense.  trump is going to parlay this whole thing into his own news network that will make Fox News appear legitimately "fair and balanced"...it's gonna be news for right wing extremists.
First thing from that camp that has made sense in a...well, ever.

Aside, I can't see Gutfield without picturing the masturbation bit on Louie.

With Bannon on board, mean Trump is coming.
Trump clearly doesn't need Bannon to unleash his fury. I'm putting on my tinfoil hat again, but I really do find it weird that he has been playing relative softball when it comes to Hillary who is his ultimate nemesis in this race.

Bannon's best known for attacking GOPe and subtly advancing alt-right ie Duke Lite white supremacy. The attacks on Hillary will be stuff about her Parkinson's, secret cabals between Huma Abedin and Muslim Brotherhood, and maybe a dash of Vince Foster.

Isn't that what The Blaze is for?

Whatever happened to that conservative "independent" candidate that the "never Trump" Republicans were supposedly throwing millions behind?  I forget his name. Is that still going on?  :oldunsure:

Is it me or has Trump been very guarded in outwardly attacking Hillary? "Crooked Hillary" aside, I haven't seen him go at her with the same venom he directed towards a plethora of others, including his R opponents in the primaries. I have to admit I don't spend much time watching Trump speeches, but I'm sure if he had a few good zingers they would be posted all over the internet.

I just find it a bit interesting.
Yes. He really hasn't. He's talked about her "health", the emails in the sense that there was a crooked deal to get her off, she's trying to abolish the 2nd Amendment. In the last month he's gone back to attacking Republicans, it's just been a replay of the primary.

On policy, it's entirely possible he really likes and respects the Clintons. I don't know that the debates will end up like Trumpites think - that to them is the secret weapon what will win the war at the end - but reality is I think Trump may defer to her on several serious policy points, he doesn't want to go there with her and I think what he said in years past is still possibly true, he respects and likes them. To him this is a big show, like attacking Rosie O'Donnell. just a theory, but no he does not attack her on many of the key points that most campaigns would think of.

And it will be the most lucrarive thing trump ever did. And dangerous. And could lead to a right wing third party.

Evan McMullin.  Yeah, he's on the ballot in a few states now, including his home state of Utah where he's hoping to get a lot of votes.  He missed the deadline for a bunch of other states.  I haven't seen any polls that include his name but I can't imagine he's getting any traction.

I think it's just not reported as much because he hasn't executed it that well. One current line of attack seems to be that she's got some sort of incapacitating ailment, but for the most part he's still repeating the same stuff, it's just that it's old news so it doesn't get any attention.  Like how he still talks about how he's gonna build a wall but nobody talks about it anymore because it's the same shtick every time and everyone heard it and dissected it and mocked it months ago. For example I had no idea he was doing the whole "Hillary's gonna take your guns away" shtick until he made the Second Amendment people comment.

At this point he has to say something truly new and shocking like that to make people pay attention, and when it comes to Clinton, there's not a lot that would be new and shocking that that alt-right hasn't already been shouting for years.  When they do it gets coverage- like that Trump adviser called for Clinton to be publicly executed by firing squad.

You're an American hero, or at least a FFA hero.

I have questions about this picture, other than the obvious one of what would possess someone to throw in that extra F.  Specifically, I want to know about the guy in the green hat. Why does he care so much about the 7th Amendment (right to trial by jury) and what does that have to do with Trump? It's not like he was confused about which Amendment is which, I blew up the picture and it actually says something about juries.  What does the other sign say?  Who's the tyrant on the shirt (I assume Obama but what little I can see doesn't really look like him, kinda looks like OJ's mugshot)?  What's on the green trucker hat?  That guy is the most intriguing thing I saw in the entire delightful collection of photos.
The guy in the green hat is actually the same guy in the InfoWars shirt.  The front of his shirt had an image of Obama in Joker makeup.  His hat says "YIMBY" on it, which is apparently a pro-development message that means "Yes, in my back yard" in opposition to NIMBY.  I'm not sure what this guy's deal with the 7th Amendment was, but I'm guessing that he probably thought it had something to do with putting Hillary on trial.  Shortly after I took that picture, he started arguing with some of the female protesters about abortion.  He was yelling that it was "their fault" if they got pregnant and that "even if the condom breaks, it is still their fault for having sex."  He then started yelling, "How come I don't have the right to defer the pregnancy?  Why can't I defer it?," which I thought was a unique anti-abortion argument.  He was a real piece of work.

I can't believe he actually exceeded my sky-high expectations based on that photo.  Amazing.

a right wing third party ensures democratic dominance in all branches of government.  Not sure that's a good thing.
Well the democrats do seem to have more diversity from moderate to liberal to ultra liberal across the board, but yes I agree it would be better if we had more people from across the political spectrum involved.

Were you aware that there were 'these' assorted kinds Trumpkins in your area or did it catch you by surprise?
It certainly wasn't the crowd I'm used to seeing around Denver.  I realized how badly I was going to stand out as soon as I saw the throngs of people walking towards the venue.  I overhead several people saying that they had driven in from Nebraska, Kansas, and the eastern plains of Colorado.  For example, this Nebraskan corn farmer was apparently the first guy in line, arriving at 7:00 a.m., a full 12 hours before the rally started.

Because he's losing. If Trump was still ahead, you and all the other supporters would be all over this thread. But now you can pretend you're "burnt out".
Oh I'm going to still vote for him just to spite you Tim....Make no mistake..I'm going to do my best to cut off your supply of cheap illegal workers... Comprender Amigo

He could cost Trump Utah. Funny how the fringe guy represents the GOP party line and the GOP nominee essentially holds views and says things usually reserved for fringe nut bags like Lyndon Larouche and parties with names like 'The American Freedom Independence Party'.

your stock portfolio, investments and the corporate overlords that you endear won't be very happy about that.

It really takes 'you've been conned' to a really newly true and literal level. If this happens it's all been a grift. Otoh if there's a perfect thing I can totally see Trump screwing it up or running it into the ground.

I think Trump has some dealings with the Saudi's so I think Fox might want to pump the breaks on going down that rabbit hole.  This "Invisible Hand" is starting to get a lot more play in the media, and at first it sounded like some nutjobs were just floating ideas on why Trump joined the Presidential race to begin with.  The NBC deal that Michael Moore talks about and how Trump was like "OH ####! I am actually going to win the RNC nomination!" and the Roger Ailes/Donald Trump breaking away to start another "news" organization/station.

I think that maybe his own TV network wasn't the plan.  I like Michael Moores theory that the candidacy was a publicity stunt to squeeze NBC.  After he started winning, Trump panicked a bit.  The new network is the new, fallback plan.  If NBC won't hire him, he'll start his own network.

Everything from here on will be to endear him to his die-hard supporters so they will be a ready-made, dedicated audience once TrumpTV goes live.

President Trump would have zero impact on the number of people here in California illegally.

I agree, good analysis, I think if you put the two theories together they make sense as a whole.

The further along we go the more apparent it is that Trump does this textbook Psychological Deflection.  I studied psychology in college and this is an example when a person projects their own inadequacies or issues upon somebody else to deflect it from them to attribute those qualities upon somebody else

He says that Hillary gets tired and needs to go back home to sleep in her bed when he himself goes back to Trump Tower every night

he implies that Hillary's health is an issue but the letter he released seems forged

he makes a huge thing about veterans yet gets caught up in the Kahn debacle

he calls Cruz- Lyin' Ted yet he is caught doing the same countless times

he speaks about the Russians having access to Hillary's server yet he has deeper ties than anybody and implored them to do it

he called out Romney for not releasing his taxes, yet he doesn't do it himself

he knocks McCain for being captured when he didn't even go to war

he speaks about a dishonest press yet he hires Roger Ailes and, by the way, his son in law owns a newspaper

he speaks about trade packs losing American manufacturing jobs yet he sends out a ton of his Trump branded products outside

he speaks about corruption in Washington but readily admits that he has given millions to campaigns for access and favors

he speaks about immigrants as if they are a cancer to society yet he is married to one who, apparently, came here under questionable circumstances

he knocks Clinton on infidelity yet has had three wives one of which he apparently cheated on

he speaks glowingly about his children yet  there is the one from his second marriage who he completely forgets

it's like kid who does something wrong but just can't avoid telling his parents that he did.  He just invites the scrutiny

- It's a thin line between crazy and evil isn't it?

To actually do these things, consciously, for a man to purposefully portray one's opponents and critics as perpetrating the very misdeeds he has done himself, in order to deflect, insulate and destroy, well that becomes very manipulative, doesn't it.

I think it's mostly crazy.. but who knows

Imagine if 90% of American adults had portable high-quality cameras with video capability in their pockets at all times back then.

I saw a great quote somewhere recently, along the lines of "it's funny how as soon as everyone got iPhones we pretty much stopped having UFO sightings and started having lots of racist cops."
Damn technology ruins everything.

Vote for whoever you want, guy, but doing so purely to spite someone on an anonymous FF forum is one of the dumbest things that I've ever heard.

Not sure why anyone finds this stuff is surprising anymore. For quite a while now actions and policy have meant absolutely nothing to the right. The only thing that matters is whether you are "with them" or "against them."  If you're "with them", then it doesn't matter if you have ties to Saudi Arabia, run up huge deficits, or repeatedly cheat on your wife. These things are only wrong if you aren't part of the tribe.
Could say the same on the left

hillary is a huge neocon war hawk and everybody falls in line

Almost like what a narcissistic sociopath would do.

Her support for the War in Iraq cost her the nomination 8 years ago and hurt her again this year in what should have been a cakewalk to the nomination. So, yeah it's exactly the same.

So the fact that she voted to allow Bush to decide whether to invade Iraq makes her a huge neocon war hawk?  Or is it that she believes in giving air support to people fighting to overthrow a dictatorship?

Until we have something similar happen on the left with these bernie occupy wall street commie hippies.
It would be great to see 4 or more legitimate party choices (after the election, sorry Don your too crazy). We should make these people work harder for votes. Lesser of two evils isn't a terrific decision making mechanism.

A few weeks ago, Trump announced that he was making an impromptu visit to Colorado and would be holding a rally at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver -- a couple miles from my house.  I felt like I couldn't pass up the opportunity to witness this strange moment in American history firsthand.  So, I went on Trump's campaign website and reserved a couple tickets for his rally later that Friday night.

When I got home from work, I drank a beer and ate a few edibles because I thought that the whole Trump rally experience would be that much more mind-blowing if I was really high for it.  I threw on my Comrade Brewing t-shirt because I thought it would be sufficiently ambiguous that I could blend in with either the Trump supporters or the protesters.  Do I share Trump's admiration for Putin or am I just mocking it?  Who knows.  As I was getting close to the rally, I hear police sirens and blue lights flashing in my rearview mirror.  ####.  I was not looking forward to performing roadside sobriety tests as those edibles were settling in.  To my relief, it was just Trump and his police escort.  Phew.

I ultimately got to the venue about 10 minutes after the rally was supposed to start, thinking that my entry would be guaranteed given that I had a reserved ticket to the event.  But, at that point, the fire marshal had already stopped allowing people into the venue because it had been oversold beyond capacity by the Trump campaign (the same thing that happened earlier that day in Colorado Springs).  How does Trump expect to run a country when he can't competently oversee a speech for a couple thousand people?  Apparently, people had been lined up for hours to see Trump and about 600 ticketed people didn't get inside the venue.

It was a nice night outside the Wings Over the Rockies museum, so I figured I'd have a couple beers at the beer garden next door and then check out the Trump rally scene after the speech.  There were about 60 or so protesters outside the Trump rally, which were mostly twenty-something girls and hot girls with petitions.  Maybe being shut out of the rally wasn't so bad after all.

After about an hour, a herd of Trumpkins began emerging from the museum.  I was so in awe of witnessing Trumpkins in their natural habitat that I felt like I had to document it in photo essay form.  The crowd consisted of a wide array of old people, creepy old dudes with a white supremacist vibefrat boy d-bagsold white dudes wearing American flag shirts and "Make America Great Again" hats, guys wearing InfoWars shirts, and other assorted weirdos.  At one point, this frat boy Trumpkin walked out, threw his arms in the air, and yelled, "That's right!  I do love his hate, baby!"  A fairly common refrain from Trump supporters leaving the venue was "#### you!  #### Hillary!  You're all going to be looking for a job real soon."  Another old Trumpkin approached the protesters and proclaimed, "Who wants to debate me with reason and fact?!?  Who wants to debate?!?  WHY DO YOU HATE ME AND GOD?!??"  In what was sadly the most conciliatory moment of the night, that same guy befriended some black protesters with a "White lives matter! Black lives matter! Latino lives matter! EVERY LIFE MATTERS!!!" chant.  This video does a pretty great job of recapping the scene outside of the rally as the Trump supporters exited the venue.  **SPOILER ALERT** Quotes from the video include: "New World Order!  Chemtrails!"; "We got work tomorrow!" (even though it was Friday); "Lock her up!"; and "Hillary's a murderer!"

The protesters were an interesting group of people as well.  There was a group of black protesters that were cracking me up.  One guy just kept yelling, "Obaaaamaaaaa!  Obaaaammaaaaa!!  Obama comin' for that third term!"  At one point, one of the black guys said, "Melania?  How she gonna go hard for American when she Peruvian?  Half-Peruvian or something."  A couple girls had me laughing when one said to the other, "Let's do the sexist one.  No, the racist one" and, without missing a beat, the other girl yelled, "GREAT JOB BEING RACISTS!!!"  Another guy was just holding up his cell phone, on which he was displaying a picture that said, "Donald Trump hates cats."  And while I agree with this guy's message, he certainly wasn't an ideal representative of Hillary supporters.  There were a number of well-intentioned, intelligent people out there that tried to engage in a reasonable dialogue with Trump supporters.  I just don't think that anyone's mind was changed as a result of the conversations.

Overall, it was a really weird night.  I was somewhat disturbed and dismayed about what has become of American politics, but I still retain some hope for the future.  Trump has certainly captured a segment of the population that has been fueled by the right wing media's demonization of Obama and Hillary, fear mongering against immigrants, and alt-conservative conspiracy theories.  Yet, while that segment of the population might constitute the plurality of the Republican party these days, I just don't believe that they will ever be a majority of the country.  I think the latest poll numbers indicating that Clinton has a 36 percentage point advantage over Trump with voters between the age of 18 and 34 show that Trump's brand of politics is not the future of this country.
You are a scholar and a gentleman.  Well done sir

I remember reading at the time that Trump's original doctor was the dad, and the practice was kept going by the son when the dad died.

The letter was clearly bogus from the start, but at the time Trump still wasn't being taken seriously and there were weekly gaffes to distract from the letter. Now that the conspiracy nuts are making up crap about Hillary's health (aided and abetted by Trump), the Clinton campaign should definitely make the bogus doctor letter an issue.
I'm sure that my daughters created better bogus doctor letters in high school. The forensics point to Donald Trump and not Meredith McIver or the doctor.

Wow what a complete moron. I guess you can't fault Trumpites for believing it when even the semi-legit media craps out something like that. Just amazing. Love how the rest of them look stunned.
i think fox learned it's lesson last time when they tried to ignore the polls.
