bump, anymore drafts lately?

Brown seems to consistently be going ahead of Green. I think I agree with this but am a little surprised there isn't more of Green in the top 4.

would you put greene ahead of McCoy then? cause that's the decision I'm having trouble with

Neither player has a ton of value this year (unless due to holdout or injury, or if you play in a deep league), so which player has more talent and more upside for 2010? McCoy has superior talent, probably a better situation, so why should Greene go earlier? I'm just not sure what the argument would be.

I have a dynasty/IDP draft tomorrow and I am going to be targeting RB with a possibility of LB and looking for a DE late.

It is a 12 man league and my picks are 2.6, 3.2, 4.5 and 4.11. At RB I think I will be looking at Bernard Scott, Gartrell Johnson and Mike Goodson and would consider James Davis at the 3.2 if those other three are gone. If all those guys are available when I go at 2.6 who should I take and who has the highest possibility to slide to me at 3.2. I would like to get two of these guys, but I have to be careful about who I take at 2.6 and who gets to me at 3.2.

harvin definately trending down into the top 5 since the early summer drafts, i have 1.4 in our draft coming up on the 31st, i need WR help, how are you guys ranking the WR's these days, i dont think i'll be happy with anyone but Harvin from the 1.4 right now

Re: Peerman BAL RB...I am not sure why he went so high...the owner is a saavy fantasy player...I guess he wasn't liking Rice or McGahee chances in the long run...he did say that when he drafted him, he was taking him too early, so he knew what he was doing...the crazy thing is, he put $5 million down for him! In our league, that means he owns him for 5 years...But, other than that, I can't really answer that question...also, he doesn't own either Rice or McGahee...anyway here is the rest of our rookie draft...I have the last pick and then we are done...does anyone have a sneaky draft for me here? I thought I was going to get Aaron Brown, but he just went...so, I am searching hard...thoughts?

I was pretty pumped when 8 and 9 took Greene and Maclin. I don't believe those two owners use Footballguys all that much and as far as I can tell, the Harvin hype is way more out of control here than other fantasy football sources. But yes, I was extremely excited to have him drop to me at 10. Freeman is a kind of weak pick, but it was between him, Bey, and J. Morgan at 12. QB's are very important in our league because it is the most used flex and there is usually a team looking to acquire a QB through trades.

I was shocked at how far Stafford fell in this one. I was glad to take Maclin (agonized btw him and Nicks), but had really hoped that Harvin or James Davis would have been there (flipping off Rotoworld right now). I was somewhat glad that Crabtree didn't fall to me because that would have been a tougher decision with him still threatening to sit out the season. Do I think he'll actually do it, No, but I don't have the roster space to keep him all season if he does something crazy.

I just had mine. It's a 10 team / 16 roster spots / no PPR / no defense / QB heavy, so I'm guessing there are guys available in my league who probably shouldn't be available because the roster sizes are so small. There are some picks that I am still shaking my head about.

Wow, that is a very weird draft. How do those 3 guys go before Moreno? And how does Nicks fall to 2.05? Is this a redraft league or something? I really don't understand. Why would you want Hasselbeck over Nicks in a dynasty draft? That's bizarre enough right there, Nicks was an absolute steal.

I have no idea how those three guys go before Moreno. From everything I could find, Moreno was the consensus 1.01 by a wide margin. It's not a redraft. We all have 16 slots and we only get draft picks if we drop players to free up roster spots (is this not standard for dynasty leagues?). There's only 160 rostered players in the league, so it's not a deep league and a lot of the lower ranked rookies will get ignored. It did feel very weird going through it, as in years past the top 2 rounds were basically all rookies. I was fine on reaching for a veteran QB like Hasselbeck because my rostered QBs are suspect and my WRs are Calvin, Andre and Roddy. Had Hasselbeck not gone before me, I would have taken him without blinking an eye. The commissioner also reduced the roster sizes at the end of last season. I started laughing uncontrollably when Brown went 1.01. Uncontrollably.
