1-all depends on what you are looking to do...if you are close and need a big time QB it's nice deal because Brady could be a difference-maker and put you over the top...if you are rebuilding it's a solid move since it is a 1 QB league and you may not be able to do much better, so I understand cashing out now
2-all depends on how many players you really like in this year's draft...if you have 11 you really like then I like that side...if you are so-so in that 1.11 to 2.3 area than it's a real smart move grabbing another asset although you do risk an unexpected player dropping to 1.11 by doing this deal now
3-again, if I'm close, I like the Evans side since you get a big-time player, don't touch your current roster and have 2 years to get that pick back...I would have much preferred another younger player other than Ridley since he will be 28 in December (and will not have played in pretty much two years) and since you are rebuilding, he doesn't really make too much sense

i don’t like acquiring Ridley for a rebuilding team. In part due to his age, and also in part due to his mental health issues combined with his gambling issues (they may be the same issue) - either way, there’s a dark cloud hanging over his future, and I’m not yet convinced he’s ever going to contribute meaningfully to FF rosters. I feel like much better return could have been had for Mike Evans.
I think the comments and thought that Ridley may not play again is one of the biggest overreactions in fantasy community I've seen in years and that's saying something because I've seen a lot.

I’m not saying he won’t play again. I’m saying he may never be as relevant again. I think it’s a fair reaction. Especially since we still don’t know the full extent of his gambling, and how he impacted games in which he played.

You’re certainly entitled to that.
I think his missing substantial time for a mental health crisis is worth considering. It’s something that could limit him again in the future.
The gambling is another red flag that could impact his future.
Those things, combined with his age & the Falcons being in a full rebuild, give me pause when considering his future value.

Tricky. I like Dobbins a lot. I’m not sure if the Ravens will be committed enough to one dude to make Dobbins a star. And they have a running QB who’s going to vulture TDs.
I’m more down on Sanders thank most. I’m not sure what the future at RB looks like for the Eagles, how much of a RBBC it’s going to be, and they also have a running QB.
I love the ‘23 1st. I guess I’d take Sanders and the 1st, then try to flip Sanders. It seems very fair.

at least they're getting a stud dynasty WR back but SHEESH I wouldn't pay that for Jonathan Taylor in non-ppr dynasty.
I mean, I imagine you go through all of this trouble to aquire all of those pick to do a full rebuild, and then you sell them ALL for a single player? makes zero sense to me.
in one of my FFPC leagues, I shipped off Zeke in one trade and Tyreek in another to acquire 2 more 2023 1st round picks, and now some owners are sending me meh offers for those picks and my reply has been some version of "why would I put in the effort to acquire the picks to rebuild and then sell them off for good but not great dynasty assets". Stay the course!

You don't see any basis? How many players have we seen leave the game for mental health reasons or suspended for gambling? I don't think you can succeed in the NFL if you're not fully committed, mentally and physically. You can be bullish or bearish on his future but there are certainly reasons to be concerned.

Seems fair and really depends on your league scoring of rushing tds vs passing tds.
I'd be concerned about Lamar's durability averaging almost 1000 yards rishing a season. Maybe I'm showing my age, but it sure seems like hits taken in the pocket are generally less violent/traumatic than ones in the open field.

I've never seen one of these kinds of trades in real life. Someone works to collect 4 1sts and then quickly sends them all away for one player. I couldn't do it.

Four???? He also added a 2014 1st. Also sanders and a 2nd is worth a 1st.
Four 2023 1sts for any player would be a bit of an overpay, then he added all the rest.
Edit...just realized it was TWO 2023 2nds.
You can argue this can be viewed as 7 first in value.
The five 1sts are obviously 1sts.
Two 2023 2nds could be viewed as a 1st round value.
Sanders could be argued to be a 1stbround value

It's a contract league, so some other variables. I had Chase for 4 years and Jefferson is only 2, but I can franchise tag him, so that wasn't a big deal to me. Also Jefferson is only 2K based on draft position and Chase is 18K.
I obviously like the trade but was surprised by the league reaction. About half thought it was pretty even, but most of the others thought the guy getting Chase came out on top.
As an aside, moved the 1.10 and my 2023 first to the team that IMO, is a virtual lock to be picking in the top 2 in 2023. Fortunately, he is an eternal optimist and thinks he will be mid at worst.

I like the Chase side. Mostly because I like the odds of Burrow having longevity over Cousins. Getting the pick is a nice balancing piece. It’s fair. I’d want Chase.

People say this all the time but it depends on the 1sts.
Here I give you picks 10, 11, 12 this year for Chase you taking that ? That's 3 1st.
Or even if I gave you picks 7, 9 and 11 are you taking that for Jefferson or Chase or Taylor ?
I think not.
Also what if they are 3 projected late 2023 1st. You can't always project them but in most leagues sometimes you can tell if a team will be playoff or not.
I have traded 3 1st round picks + a few times in my league once it worked out (Got Tomlinson in his prime) the other did not work out (Got Priest Holmes then he promptly broke his hip)
Also This year I basically gave up 3 1st to get Chase everyone on here said I won the trade.
I gave but Breece Hall, Skyy Moore and 2.01 for Chase.
I took Hall 1.01, Moore went 1.09 plus the 2.01.
Hall is worth at least 2 1st round picks considering he is 1.01 and goes in the 10-15 in startups.
So I gave up more than 3 1st in value for Chase a few weeks ago not 1 person on here said they would take the Hall side that I can recall.
