****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (26 Viewers)

Here's one I found interesting. 12 team, 1 Qb, ppr.

Ridley for Swift

I feel like the value is probably similar, but the arrows are pointing in opposite directions. I've went back and forth on this one and think I settled on the Ridley side as I think his value will continue to climb as we hear positive camp reports.
I like them both but I like Swift more.

12 team, 20 man, PPR, QRRWWFKD, 6 pts all TDs

Was offered this, had a good ring to it, looked at some rankings, found no *breaking news*, so I went ahead and took it.

Gave: Elijah Moore, James Robinson, Renfrow
Got: Dotson, 2.07

Elijah is exciting, getting away from a place where he just was not getting targetted, but don't know what to expect out of him.
I had been a little excited everytime Robinson got a new home, but so far he just isn't getting touches, and that says a lot. The blurb about Belichick calling him "depth" got me off the "maybe he'll be fully healed up and ready to break out again like his rookie season!" train of thought.
Renfrow I don't really care about, though he may have an opportunity with a lot of freed up targets in LV.

I drafted Dotson and traded him right off the bat. He's been mostly a touchdown-dependent headline grabber, shrug. But happy to have him back, solid prospect.
That 2.07, in this RB-obsessed league, could easily get the WR4 of my draft list, whoever that ends up being. Possibly WR3. Or a RB10 or 11, or a QB3 or 4.

Short story is I view this as basically free 2.7.

I would have taken Dotson without the 2.07.

I finally got my Justin Jefferson trade through after negotiating all weekend. 1 QB, .5 PPR, and 12 teams:

Gave:
Davante Adams, 1.06, 1.07, 2.04, 2024 3rd (will be really late), and a 2025 6th

Got:
Justin Jefferson, 3.01, and 2 2024 6ths
That's more then I've ever paid for a player in fantasy. Never been my style to go all in on a player like that but on the contrary have given up players for hauls like this which helped me build powerhouses. But in this case I'd pay it for JJ. The picks are solid but not premium and Davante is basically a whole career older then Jefferson as well as of course being an inferior fantasy option now. Still an elite one though.
I'm definitely happy with it. Sets me up really well.

Although I don't think this is a free 2.07, I do think the value is easily on that side. That is coming from a non Dotson believer.

Somebody replied, I forget who, but all they did was quote you and cross out Tee Higgins. Which I assume means he would rather have the picks. To me, it's a tough one. That "anywhere" 2024 is an exciting lotto ticket. Really tough call. I say all depends on team makeup.

Then why trade Higgins? I'd rather have the young proven WR than what could be two late picks.

This seems like a win/win. The rebuild team needs picks but if that 24 1st is late then this could be a big loss. I that pick ends up top half then I like the picks. Seems like fair value if that pick isn't 11 again or something like that.

10t 1qb

Sent kupp
For calvin Ridley , picks 7 and 20.
Kupp for me

I can see both sides of this. Think value is about right so would be a decision based on roster for me. Wouldn’t even characterize it as win now vs rebuild. Ridley is plenty win now. If I have roster space and need a running back, give me the picks. If I’m in a consolidation phase, it’s not a bad price to pay for Kupp.
I’m definitely in win now mode and I am trading away kupp. Got younger and two extra shots in the draft. I’ll be taking bijon and whatever bpa on my board is at seven. I view Ridley as high cieling asset in a very comparative situation as kupp. Kirk did just fine there and I think Ridley is a better wr. I’m taking a chance. However, I do have Beckham, Jefferson Godwin, mclaurin, juju, arob, Alec pierce and now Ridley at wr. I think I’ll be ok.

I missed this one, apologies.

I’m a big Higgins fan. 1.11 & a Random 1st doesn’t replace Higgins for me.

Value-wise it is 2x 1sts. Without checking, I’m near certain trade calcs will love the picks side.

Imma stick with Higgins.

I’ll take the picks here but it’s close. I don’t love Juju on NEP, and the Rams offense worries me a bit.

That there’s a 1st makes it a relatively easy call for me. I could wake up tomorrow and pick the other side of this, depending on my team build/needs.

Well, clearly the hope is that the two 1st round picks end up better than what Tee will be then. If one becomes as good, it's a win, if both, huge win, if neither then oopsie.

Looks like 2.01 for free.

I'd take the 1st even without that pick included.
I'm so down and out on Sutton and not wildly high on Dak, though I still think he's a back end TE1, that I'd tend to view this as a free 2024 top 5. If that comes across as hyperbolic all I can say is I am making that statement from prism of my leagues and out of the 9 teams I got there is only one I'd even consider giving up 2.1 for Dak/Sutton/3.3, the one league I got QB issues.

I think they're probably close in talent but not market value. E Moore could very well be a good buy low right now whereas the time to buy low on Dotson was last year, which is why I think this trade is really a slam.

I just based my trade evaluations and comments on what I think and what I'd do(why I put the word "myself" in the comment), not on the market value which I knew clearly favored Dotson because fantasy players often have short memories IMO, get to focused on current or recent negativity or dip.

My own personal viewpoint is Elijah Moore will outproduce Dotson next year and they are basically same age and similar profile to me so it's hard for me not to view them as equal. Does not mean I'd trade Dotson for Moore, it means I would try and take advantage of consensus opinion that has Dotson valued higher and a trade of Dotson for Moore+ , that is something I'd be interested in.

If only 1 is as good, it’s a wash other than gaining a couple of years of age.

See, I feel like “Neither” looms as a distinct possibility, which is a bit too risky compared to the bird (bengal) in hand.

Using strictly Fantasypros Rookie Rankings (first round only) from the last three years and the April Trade Value Chart, here are the players more valuable than Higgins since the 2020 draft.

2022 - Hall, London, Walker, Wilson, Olave
2021 - Chase, Pitts, Waddle, Smith
2020 - Taylor, Lamb, Jefferson

That's 12/36 picks, with only Jefferson taken later than pick 6, holding more current value.

The picks certainly hold value just based on their fluidity, But I think it's foolish to be confident you'll draft someone more valuable with those picks.

But maybe someone worse?

What’s the QB situation for the 2 rookies?

Are they somehow immune to injury?

What if they find Jesus and decide to go door to door handing out pamphlets?

At least Tee has actually shown ability at the NFL level. These two might both be busts.
This works both ways.

An enormous win IF you are taking the next Tee Higgins at 1.11 - something I’m deeply, deeply skeptical of. Especially in this draft class where only like, 1 guy (almost) has his size and isn’t even considered the best WR In the class.

So hey, good luck with that. Tee Higgins side easily.
