I have Kmet in a league were at this point he's my 17th man-could change with FA, so that puts him one spot away from being a keeper right now. I've made a few offers trying to deal him for a second in this years draft or next and including him with other players for a 2023 first to no avail. I also have pick 12 in that league so I would personally jump at chance to move 12/Kmet for 7.
But I think the trade is reasonable on both ends. Kmet's lack of red zone usage/production is puzzling but he did take a nice second year leap which is the path most TE's who have fantasy success typically do. He's super young and it could be argued he at least has middling 6-10 type of TE upside. He's not trash.

Huntley isn’t worth much to anyone but the LJax owner, and MM could be in play for the Colts.
Figured it was worth a shot in case he gets dealt to a team with a chance at meaningful PT. Looked pretty decent with the Raiders in limited action.
Hardly a blockbuster, but maybe some upside.

This one’s tough. I’m not sure what Harris future looks like, and Methuselah might not re-sign with the Falcons (and how much time does he realistically have left?)
Mitchell is the starter in SF, but they’re fickle & next man up is the motus operandi in Shanny’s offense.
I do like Toney & Smith a lot.
It’s fair. All depends on a team’s needs and roster makeup.

100% need to see roster make-up because you cannot look at a trade like this without it...both teams are taking a chunk out of one position, so you really need to see what you are left with at those positions before commenting...some times it's not simply about talent but roster construction.

Buying what you need with overflow surplus from another spot is good business but in this case probably not, would try to keep looking for another deal.
Now under that scenario I see why this deal makes sense and I would for sure say this trade makes you better in 2022 if that's the case, maybe makes you better in 2022 if you are fairly even at WR/TE. I just don't trust those RB's to have multi-year value. Patterson is old. Harris is a tough runner but not overly high upside and in last year of his deal. Mitchell might be the one that bucks the trend but it's been hard for any RB to make themselves a multi-year staple under Kyle.
For me I'm stacked with WR's with longer shelf life I take my time finding the right RB help knowing those WR's buy me more time and 2023 draft has a lot of higher upside multi-year options.

This is my most stacked team was facing major cutdown problems in 2 weeks. I was going to be cutting one of Stevenson or Laviska. Or selling supershort. Still hold 1.10 and now I may see what I can get for Barkely if I don't just hold. I have CMC, Taylor, Javonte and now Barkley at RB on this team. IDK. Guess I'll update the message board that said "highest bidder gets Viska." Not that I'm excited about him but I'd hate to cut.

I like the deal. I’ll like it even more when Barkley goes to a better team next year. The upside is all on your side here. I like Allen - he’s aging, and now seemingly 2nd fiddle to Williams. But I like the idea of having Barkley more and you seem to be in a unique position where this made a lot of sense. So context considered, solid.

I think he is still #1 for LAC (which is very good) but he was my WR6. I also like Stevenson quite a bit but whatevs, easy come easy go. I have Stevenson in a number of other leagues as well.

Very good deal. 1.04 might be something special might not. But Dillon and a 20231st is pretty solid IMO.
Trade makes all kinds of sense for you.
If you stick and pick the 1.4 BPA is about 99.9% going to be a WR and make Chark your WR9.
You needed a solid RB and with Dillon and the 2023#1 early top 6 you might walk away with two.

Big head-scratcher for the guy getting 2.11…best case Edmonds is the #1 in Miami…worst case he is a big part of a RBBC if they bring in another good back…why trade that for a non-premium pick…real bad use of a solid asset.

Been hearing it on Twitter and from last year: Now is not the time to acquire running backs. It's picks and guys in steady situations. RB is so different because if the team brings in that one dreaded particular player, it becomes a committee overnight.
Edmonds is case-in-point. What if Miami still drafts somebody and views Edmonds as a dynamic change-of-pace running back. Then you're left holding a bag of what might have been really.
But for the 2.11? That's an easy peasy deal right there. Give me the Edmonds side.

It is FFPC and maybe Edmonds is a cut because he has no roster space left. So at least he got something for him. Just a guess as to why you make a deal like that

Yeah for the price forget about it. I don't mind an RBBC.
After this trade I think he has 2 guys that he can cut and still be at 17. Chuba and Van Jefferson. Good players that you'd probably hate to cut but realistically that would still only get you to 17 (after selling me Edmonds). So yeah, could very well be the best price he could get. I autoslammed it. If I am right about those two cuts then his last cut would be between Ridley and Boyd. IDK. He has good RBs still.

I rather have the pick as I think Amon Ra is a better NFL guy than FF guy and will settle in to the WR2/3 glut of WR's that you can find rather easily. Hunt is a secondary piece at this point. He needs something to happen to be an elite option. Could happen but probably not. This is a nice move especially if you had a short bench and needed to free up roster spots.

#1 - love getting Goedert. Fant is quickly souring, and the potential of Toney in a new offense is worth it IMO
#2 - cheap price for Cooks
#3 - I don't play SF so I'll just say you're exactly right here
#4 - I'm still an Akers fan but if you've still got RB depth I don't think that's too high a price to pay to get a difference-making TE

From what I've learned about FFPC leagues from all the @barackdhouse posts, this looks like a great way of consolidating roster spots and turning two ok players into one potential top tier guy.

I get the why, I just don’t see 1.03 as enough in return.
1.01 for that package, IMO.
More because of Hunt than ARSB, though in PPR I still really like ARSB.
You may want the 1.01 for those players but no way does anybody with that pick give it up for that little.

I have one league that is 12 teams, 1 QB, IDP (start 8 IDP) with 30 man rosters. We keep 15 and draft 15 rounds each year. The first 3-4 rounds play out like a rookie draft, with the later rounds being IDP depth, backup RB's, sometimes Sophomores that really stunk it up as rookies.

Honestly I’d want to turn those two players into 1 better player. IMO the value is there for that.
2022 1.03 may not be > Hunt
2023? Absolutely. This year, far less likely.
That's my only real beef with this deal.

I think it should be closer to 1.01 more because of ARSB than Hunt. But I don't think 1.03 is bad by any means. *Especially* if somebody isn't a big believer in ARSB.

Yeah - context of the 2022 draft is the more compelling factor to me. Either 2:1 to get a player upgrade, or 1.01 this year, or 1.02-3-4-5-6 in 20203
I get consolidating the roster, I just think it's a little light for that package of players.

I love me some JaWill - I just think Jones & Henry have more value than that. Again, I assume this is a roster trimming move. Still seems like giving up way too much.
