JT side all day. That said, I'm not a deebo fan at all. I see him regressing a ton this year. "gadget" guys get figured out pretty quickly in this league.

Interesting deal with the contract situations. I certainly like Diggs situation for the next 2 years more than Metcalf's, but Diggs is 28, will be 29 in November. So 28-29, 29-30, and 30-31 seasons.

I like Mooney. Not sure I like him more than Mitchel with the same contract.
Not sure why the '24 2nd is on that side of the deal. To me that's a bit of an overpay.
But I don't hate it - Diggs could well be much more productive than Metcalf the next 2 seasons, so probably a fair trade.

My roster only had Smith Jr. at TE so felt I had the depth to make the move (still have Deebo, Waddle, McLaurin, Diontae Johnson, Dotson, Rondale Moore, Crowder, Hamler at WR)
Fair return or did I give away too much?

Pitts as just a WR is on par with AJB and I believe that for both production and ability. He's younger, better health history and his production at his position vs his comp will create an advantage the AJB won't at his. Slam dunk trade.

I feel like Chubb could be starting his downside. I like the JT side by a ton and that is with Edwards being worth next to nothing. This is especially worse in standard scoring as JT is the best fantasy asset in the league by far there. You would have to be really high on Deebo and Chubb to even consider this. Deebo has to keep doing things that have never been done for this to be close to worth it and with everything we have heard about him in the offseason about being unhappy, this could age really bad.Keith R said:

I'm not a huge fan of AJB in Philly so I like this a lot. With your depth at WR, it makes even more sense. This is a good move that keeps your team being a winner.
Yeah I'd offered straight up and he wanted the 2nd. Knew it was an overpay but feel much better about short term production from Diggs and Mooney and think I'm in a contending window so it is what it is.

I don't play contract or IDP leagues so would have to really dive in to the scoring and settings of the league for a true opinion. I also like Diggs and Mooney a decent amount but I think I'd lean towards DK/Mitchell/2nd.

Offered Chase Edmonds and 1.11 as a starting point for Williams and 2.4 with a comment of let me know who else you’re interested in players/picks, can add to it.
I was shocked and thrilled when I got a text saying that he’d do his third instead. They happy they have multiple firsts. Hope 1.11 doesn’t turn into a stud.
Not trying to justify in anyway, obviously thrilled as I believe Williams would be 1.1 this year but a bunch of trades were made this week so I made an offer with a comment.

I disagree with this one a bit. I see this deal as a but low on Kittle.
Even with his value down right now I wouldn't trade Kittle for a 23 mid first. I know people are pick crazed but it's so hard to get elite tight ends.
Does that make up the difference between Lamar and Tannehill/1.12 in a 12 team 1qb league? Maybe not today but a year or two ago the guy trading kittle for a qb and a first wouldn't have needed to add 1.12 to it.

I'm a fan and owner of Kittle but he will turn 29 a month into the season, has had trouble staying healthy and will now be catching passes from a QB that has a wide-range of outcomes for his production.
I'm not sure I'd put him in the "elite" tier anymore - I think he's on the fringe of Top 5 - and there's a few up and coming TEs that can push him down further after 2022.

As a Niner fan, I’d be hesitant to buy on Kittle, and I don’t see this as particularly low. Kittle’s 29, gets hurt a lot because of the style in which he plays, and is transitioning to a new QB. Lance is a mystery right now. While I’m optimistic, I also hold a healthy level of wait and see.
The 1.12 in 2022 doesn’t have a ton of value, especially if it’s a 1 QB league. The ‘23 1st at any spot is likely to be far more valuable, as that draft has a deep top end.
LJax is a likely top 5 FF QB due to his rushing / RuTDs.
Reasonable minds can disagree on this one - I’m on the LJax side easily here.

I’d pay a ‘23 1st for Kittle. IMO he is still one of 4 elite TE’s out there and will be for a few more years. He has the highest floor IMO in SF whether Lance busts (safety net) or is the next big thing (big numbers for everybody.) LJax is worth a bit more than the 1.12 and Tanny but I’d rather have the elite TE in a 1QB league. I can find alternatives for QB production fairly easily, not so much at TE.

I disagree. He's barely ahead of him in the RB rankings at most places. Hall's testing and athleticism is far superior to Williams's. Will that translate into the actual game? We'll see, but if I were being speculative about things (which is all one can be with Hall) I'm going Hall even knowing what Javonte can do in the pros.
Javonte, for all his carries last year, didn't break too many when I was watching him. He had one carry he broke where he -- surprise -- got caught from behind. Now, is Javonte a valuable runner in between the tackles? Sure. That's his bread and butter. But if you're talking chunk gains and the speed to outrun guys, give me Hall again.
They're differently styled backs, that's for sure.
eta* I was also in a unique position to metaphorically put my money where my mouth was (with a little sweetener in Courtland Sutton) and did so, so I'm definitely biased.

I'd say Lamar Jackson and teh 23 1st in 1 QB leagues but it is close depending on who the QB is left as I wouldn't want to rely on Tanny. If SF, it is Lamar by a landslide.

This is just terrible. J-Will is just to big of an asset and Edmonds is in a terrible RBBC. 1.11 in a weak draft does nothing to persuade me. This is easily a 23 1st in a strong draft short and maybe more.

If you mean instead of the 1.11, I agree with you. Should be Edmonds and a 2023 1st, at least. At the very least. This is a bad trade.

Now we're cooking with fire. Yes, around that level. I think that's a generous offer, though maybe a bit much. That's a lot of draft capital, even considering the 1.11 of this class. But it's much fairer than the actual trade and probably necessary to get it done for most people.

Exactly and to be fair, I am pretty high on J-Will. Like his running style and I'm pretty low on Edmonds and anything late in this draft.

Per DLF, I've got Javonte at 1.11 and Hall at 1.13. What source are you using?
Forget source, let's assume your numbers. Is it that significant? It's still a first round pick. Most rankings have Javonte a back or two ahead of Hall. What sort of compensation is needed to get from 1.12 to 1.06 in startups? What round pick or type of player would you say satisfies that?

Seems like based on your eval you should be shopping all your Javonte shares for Hall plus since you like Hall better.

Lol. Fair enough. I only play in two dynasty leagues. That's enough for me. I already gave up Javonte for Hall plus some. We'll see how that works out.
If I played in ten leagues, and had seven Javontes, I'd probably do a 5-2 or 4-3 split. Javonte runs tough, but his style is contact-inducing, which screams injuries, and Hall has the chunk plays and breakaway speed that I appreciate. Williams has never, ever been a bell cow, college and pro. Hall has. So those are the things I think of. But it's sort of a wing and a prayer with Hall, because from what I've seen, his big thing is going to be how he reacts to the sick contact of the pros. I wouldn't divest myself totally of Williams in the event I had many shares in many leagues.

Ah, okay. That's all well and good then. FFPC is good currency with me.
I never said that people value Hall as much as Javonte, just that there's a case to be made for Hall over him at 1.01 in this draft. KTC has their value as Williams = Hall plus a mid-third.
That sounds about right. I have no qualms with any of that. The question was really what I'd do, and I got something extra for Javonte in addition to Hall that's about equivalent to 1.09 this draft. I'll take that.
