Waddle and a 2024 1st for Jefferson. I wouldn't do it.Would not move me to consider dealing JJ.FFPC 1 QB
Justin Jefferson
For
Jaylen Waddle, 2.01, 2.07, 2024 1st (mid-high, I think a non playoff team), and a 2024 2nd
Good value for a guy who may end up being the man in that offense.Small deal in 1QB, FFPC to back fill my RB depth
Gave: 3.02, 4.02
Got: Mattison
I like that move. I don’t entirely trust Smith - he’s always looking like he got hurt after every play. DKM is a beast.FFPC 1QB

I dealt For Mattison last year. Let’s hope he’s the man!Small deal in 1QB, FFPC to back fill my RB depth

Me too. The guy asked me my opinion as the Pollard seller is very much in rebuild. I said good to cash out but no way he should have included the 2.07 in that trade at all. He didn't listen to me though.Tony Pollard and 2.07

Not a Gesicki fan but I'd have given Smith/3rd for DK by itself. Good move.FFPC 1QB
I gave D Smith, 2023 3rd
I got Metcalf, Gesicki
He is 26 already, never been one that can take a full work load as the team doesn't even want him to have 20+ carries a game, and the dude is in a multi-year rebuild. Pollard will be 28-29 before this guy can even think about competing so no reason to hold a RB with value. I would cash out in that situation too. Other situations then no.Why does a team need to cash out from Pollard when he finally gets a full opportunity?I said good to cash out

Pretty close, fair, but I have Devonta a little higher then DK so would go that direction myself.FFPC 1QB

I like it for you, feel like the guy you got him from must think Dalvin is back but I still don't think that's a given.Small deal in 1QB, FFPC to back fill my RB depth

Maybe I'm off on Pollard, but 1.06/1.07 in this class seems about right for him to me. I don't mind the return in a rebuild. He is 26 already, never been one that can take a full work load as the team doesn't even want him to have 20+ carries a game, and the dude is in a multi-year rebuild. FFPC , 1QB
Gave: 1.04
Got: 2024 1st and 2024 2nd (both look early-mid)
I’m a firm believer that if you don’t love the best available player you make this type of love. Move the 2nd in season to help contend and hope the 1st is more early than mid. Continue this trend until it becomes 1.01 or 1.02 and getting the stud while accumulating 2nd and using them productively along the way
Agree with a lot of what you are saying but would add I don't care about carries, I care about touches and Pollards got tremendous growth potential in the passing game with Elliot out. He's been vastly under utilized in that area, very easy to see an Ekeler type late career surge once the vet is finally gone(Gordon/Elliot).He is 26 already, never been one that can take a full work load as the team doesn't even want him to have 20+ carries a game, and the dude is in a multi-year rebuild. I was ok with 1.08 and 2.05 for him. Seemed fair. Just didn't think he should be giving 2.07 back as well. I'm not huge on Pollard either but this year's draft doesn't leave as much talent in as great of landing spots as I would like to trade him for 1.08 and a 2 pick upgrade in the 2nd personally.Maybe I'm off on Pollard, but 1.06/1.07 in this class seems about right for him to me. Totally agreed here. I am win-now and if I needed a RB, I'd make a run at Pollard. I just didn't like the return. Felt light by at least the fact he gave 2.07 back. I wasn't dogging Pollard. More providing reasons why he wasn't right for a true start from scratch rebuild project.Agree with a lot of what you are saying but would add I don't care about carries, I care about touches and Pollards got tremendous growth potential in the passing game with Elliot out. But if he's a few years away from contending think it's a good idea to move him but still think the return is to light. For instance last week someone offered me a 2024 #1 and told me they'd kick in a little extra for Pollard and that pick could be anywhere but for sure the team would not project as one of the favorites even after obtaining Pollard. That's more the kind of trade I think the guy should have made instead of pick 8 in a soft draft.

You could have waited yes but had they spend a day 2 pick on a RB, you may not have got that 1st. Hard to know so I don't blame you especially if that pick finishes in the top half of the 1st.Totally agreed here. I am win-now and if I needed a RB, I'd make a run at Pollard. I have a little seller’s remorse as I didn’t hold him thru the draft. Still happy with the future 1st I got but likely could get more now. Everyone assumed Dallas would add someone with Pollard 26, one year tag, never carried the load, and coming off injury, but that didn’t happen. Seems risky for their playoff hopes to roll with just him and/or any vet leftovers they may pick up now.
As for increased touches, Zeke only vacated 23 targets for 17 receptions from last year, don’t see Pollard greatly jumping up in targets, especially with Cooks there now too.
If Pollard is the third down back I anticipate the usage being an almost 180 difference then how they utilized Zeke. At one time Zeke was dangerous in the passing game but this last version of him was not, he just kept the third down gig because his best trait at this point is arguably his pass protection. Whereas with Pollard he's a skilled and dangerous receiving option, but he's been lacking in pass protection. Perhaps that keeps him from seizing the third down role, but if he does get it I expect him to be used vastly different. As for increased touches, Zeke only vacated 23 targets for 17 receptions from last year, don’t see Pollard greatly jumping up in targets, especially with Cooks there now too.
I'd take Moore and let me add to this if Moore was thrown back into the rookie draft he'd be my WR3 or WR4.12 team ppr QB/2RB/3WR/TE/FL
