****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (43 Viewers)

FFPC BB

Gave Mattison
Got 24 1st

Not a believer and with 28 players still on my roster im pretty happy to get the 1.

FFPC 1qb

Gave T. Lawrence
Got 24 1st, 2nd, 3rd & T. Conklin

I have Burrow and this gives me three 1's, two 2's for next year

big win

amd

super big win. I had to read twice to make sure the 2nd trade wasn’t superflex

Yeah, both good. Feel like Mattison is in a weird spot where I'd never buy for a first but never sell for a second, so if you're able to find a buyer then that's good work

Just to add another data point, Mattison was traded earlier today in one of my leagues (12 team 1QB PPR) for the 2023 2.02

LaPorta, Mayer, Young, Roschon, Mingo, or outside chance at Miller.

I made an OTC move for him last year for pick 2.4 in a league I had Dalvin. So I'm a little surprised now that he appears to have a clear path to the job I'm striking out trying to get a future first. Granted I've not offered him to the better teams in the league but also not to any team where it looks like some top 4 lock pick either and all to teams I thought needed a RB.

I'm actually a believer in him for next season so I'm not in a massive rush to move him versus waiting to see if he can take the field and enhance his value, I just feel like I got enough players without him and would rather move an asset to the future and if I could do it now and clear a roster spot before season cut down I'd consider that ideal.

FFPC 1QB

Anthony Richardson
For
Treylon Burks

Interesting deal...I would definitely go with Richardson even in a 1 QB league...Burks has a chance to be solid but I don't see him being a difference-maker at any point and you can find WRs like him pretty easily...I would gladly give him up for the opportunity to roster a QB who's fantasy ceiling is thru the roof.

I tried to give 2.06 and 2.11 for Mattison in our home super flex dynasty about 6 weeks ago and was turned down with no counter.

I got Miller and Spears with those picks.

A couple of recent trades...

1QB, FFPC

Gave: Chubb
Got: '24 1st

Same league

Gave: D. Adams
Got: Flowers, 3rd, 4th

I've unloaded all of my Chubb shares. I hate doing it because he's great. But I'd rather be out a year early on RB's even on contending teams in many cases. Chubb is one year or one injury away from being impossible to move. I prefer the liquidity of the pick(s).
--------------------------------
12 tm, Superflex, 2TE w 2PPR for TE's

Gave: Chubb, Irv Smith Jr
Got: Hockenson, Trask

I got away with one here unless Irv magically balls out. Hockenson is a top-20 player in this format. It's nice when you wake up to trades like this one!

I am working on unloading Chubb myself before the season starts. I feel the same way you do!

I like the Chubb trades. I would have kept Adams.

12 team PPR

Gave Ridley
Got Dotson

Even deal...all comes down to which guy you like better (which may vary among people) and how your team is built...Ridley is a wildcard coming off of his suspension...if you get 2020 Ridley he will be a huge addition in the next 2-3 years...Dotson is 5.5 years younger and showed a ton of promise his rookie year...the x-factor with him is the Washington QB situation...I have zero issues with either side here.

That's crazy to turn down before Cook was even cut. I like your chances with Miller and Spears
I dunno. It seemed like a pretty foregone conclusion that cook would be cut or traded even 6 weeks ago. 2.06 and 2.11 don't really move the needle for a guy who's pretty much guaranteed to get starter reps.

I agree. You hit on two reasons we prefer Dotson - age and risk with Ridley.

Easily Dotson long term and maybe even short term.

12 team PPR

Gave Ridley
Got Dotson
I like the deal for you. Of those two, who would I be more surprised to see put up superstar numbers any or all of the next three years? Dotson, sure. But (1) Dotson's upside isn't tremendously far away from Ridley's, (2) Dotson doesn't come with the all the weird baggage going on with Ridley (counterpoint: Ridley now has particular motivation to prove how good he can be, which Dotson doesn't necessarily have?), (3) so long as Dotson isn't a dud, you bought a lot of time value.

You believe the newsreel more than I do then. I love the 2nd round in superflex drafts

We'll see how it pans out (reread the scoring setup in the second Chubb trade. It isn't close, IMO).

I love Chubb but don't like being a year late selling vets. Pivoting at the right time to similar production assets that hold demand is how you sustain winning.

12 team PPR, start 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 2F (R/W/T), 1K, 1DST

My team traded Gibson, Antonio WAS RB for Burks, Treylon TEN WR

I have a partner on this team, and he threw out this offer along with a few others after our rookie draft. I did not expect the offer to be accepted, so pretty pleased about it.

Additional trades today.

First trade:
  • Gave:
    • Pacheco, Isiah KCC RB
    • Burks, Treylon TEN WR
    • Collins, Nico HOU WR
  • Got:
    • Etienne, Travis JAC RB
    • Evans, Mike TBB WR

Second trade:
  • Gave: Evans, Mike TBB WR
  • Got: Toney, Kadarius KCC WR

That is 4 trades over the past week. Altogether:
  • Gave:
    • Pacheco, Isiah KCC RB
    • Gibson, Antonio WAS RB
    • Collins, Nico HOU WR
    • Ridley, Calvin JAC WR
  • Got:
    • Etienne, Travis JAC RB
    • Dotson, Jahan WAS WR
    • Toney, Kadarius KCC WR
    • Open roster spot, which will likely be filled by one of these players who we will not have to cut at roster cutdown just before the season:
      • Hull, Evan IND RB
      • Prince, Deneric KCC RB
      • Tucker, Sean TBB RB
      • Dell, Nathaniel HOU WR
      • Jones, Charlie CIN WR
      • Perry, A.T. NOS WR
      • Ross, Justyn KCC WR
      • Kraft, Tucker GBP TE
      • Any better player we pick up through waivers by the time of roster cutdown
Thoughts?

No. Mattison is the only RB on the roster who's had NFL playing time of any significance. You believe that a 7th round rookie is going to lead them in carries? Ty Chandler and all 6 of his NFL carries? MIN has ~10mil in salary cap remaining. Do you think they'll sign a Fournette or Elliot with the majority of that cap space? I don't think so. For better or worse, Mattison will be given the reigns to the starting job and he's worth more than a mid and late 2nd.

I agree that he is in a good spot, but signing any of those vets isn't going to cost more than a couple million dollars. I would be surprised if they don't sign someone to come in and add to the rb room.

It's obvious Mattison is the guy now. My first post merely stated that two 2nd's for Mattison felt expensive, not knowing Cook's fate no matter how likely. Mattison is in a good spot the next year or two. He has a nice floor/ceiling if he gets 70% of the work.

Like it. Somebody is betting on Nico Collins? Not sure about that.
I actually think Nico has the most upside of all of the HOU WRs (that is not really saying much)…but I would take Etienne pretty easily for that price.

I'm getting into a bad habit of zeroing in on a guy, but I had some ammo to go after a strong WR position from TE depth, so I went for it:

16 team Devy Superflex PPR IDP TE Premium (start 11 on offense....yeah)

I gave: Gabe Davis, Isaiah Likely, 2023 3.12, 2023 5.12, and devy Troy Franklin
I got : Drake London

I really do like Likely, but my TEs are still Freiermuth, Chig, and Mayer. Having Mayer move from Devy to roster this year, while I really love the strong TE hand in a TE Premium league, it's the ammo to go solidify my WR group. Before the trade, my top WRs were Jeudy, Dotson, and Metchie/Davis. Now I have a lot of the 2022 WRs in hand and he didn't touch my devy Emeka Egbuka for next year either.

Good sum, but I maybe would have kept Evans over Toney. Evans may have 2 or 3 top 24 seasons left. I could see Toney being out of the league in the next 2 to 3 years.

Those aren't start-up picks, right?

I'd say you totally aced it, but you really need to know DEVY to answer your query. Franklin, upon first blush, is an Oregonian who is a four-star recruit and who is approaching "stardom." So, while I thought you won this hands down at first, that has to be figured in. I just don't know where or how to do it without having seen him.

I have a ‘25 1st on the table and still can’t pull the trigger to accept.

But I’m leaning that way.

Nope startup was 2020. Devy makes it hard to value for sure. I love to draft but now in year 4 of the league, it’s rookies and dart throws. In this league, Kincaid went 1.1 followed by Judkins and then Arch Manning for context.

I really like Franklin too but feels like the classic bird in hand vs potential lenses. I’m sure Bijan partly scares him too, but I didn’t want another season of worrying about Davis as my WR3.

Good sum, but I maybe would have kept Evans over Toney. Evans may have 2 or 3 top 24 seasons left. I could see Toney being out of the league in the next 2 to 3 years.

I see that trade as a bet on upside for Toney due to age, Mahomes, and Reid vs. likely decline of Evans due to age and Baker. But I see the other side of it, too.

12 tm ppr dynasty 1qb deep 27 man rosters but switching to superflex in 2025:

I traded stroud for early 24 3rd, top half probably 25 3rd, and 2026 first and second round picks.

I drafted Levis and Hooker this past draft as well and think I can come out way ahead with these four picks

He likes collecting spare change, perhaps?

slam dunk for the Getting London side.

Yes, not sure how you spend a top 5 rookie pick on London and then basically give him away for nothing (almost literally nothing).

Gabe Davis? I think last year showed his ceiling is capped by his role and he's decent depth at best.
Isaiah Likely? He showed a few flashes in preseason, but he's not some otherwordly talent and he's buried behind Andrews and will be competing with Bateman, Flowers, OBJ and the RBs for targets. 40 receptions is likely (npi) his ceiling.
3.12 and 5.12 in a devy league is not attractive.

Surely, he could have done much better if he wanted to give up on London.

12 team, 20 man, PPR, QRRWWFKD, 6pt all TDs
League is notoriously coo-coo for RB puffs

Team A received: Josh Jacobs + Khalil Herbert
Team B received: Dalvin Cook + Alexander Mattison

I like Team A's pull here. The uncertainty around Herbert is similar to Mattison's. Herbert has better advanced metrics than Mattison. By advanced I mean yards over expected per carry. He seems to always be to the furthest right and up on the advanced metrics charts, unlike Mattison, who is a bit more pedestrian.

So on pure talent and for longevity's sake, I like the Jacobs and Herbert side.
