Crazy timing. Oh well, I think I’m still okay with Golden. Judkins could (should) still face suspension and his rookie season could be derailed.

Any chance Golden or Egbuka could slide to 12? Or that you could trade up a few spots cheaply if not? I'd prefer rolling the dice on either of those guys than Addison who is stuck behind JJ and has the knucklehead factor.

I’d hold on Addison. He’s really, very good. 3 weeks is nothing. And he’s so young. Ridley is not at an age I want to build around (31 in DEC) & Addison is worth more than a 1st if only for the known commodity.

I just made a HUGE trade in our SF dynasty league. Hope I made the right move, I was projected to finish 2nd before the trade and it showing the same after the trade. I traded: Burrow, Daniels, Hampton, JSN and a 2026 3rd for: Mahomes, Stroud, Achane, Cook, Pickens and TWO 2026 and 2027 1sts so I'll now have 3 first rounders the next two years. Thoughts?

Burrow and Daniels > Mahomes,. Stroud, and the two 1sts
JSN and Hampton > Achane and Pickens.
I didn't include Cook because he isn't enough to make the difference to make me want to do this in SF. To me, I think it's a significant drop at the most important position. And I like JSN and Hampton a lot more than Achane and Pickens.

16-team contract league - 1QB, PPR for TE only. Draft is 2 rounds of rookies and then everyone round 3 on. Veterans can be thin since they depend on expiring contracts.
Gave: 1.08, 3.12, 4.03 (so, 12th and 19th veteran picks)
Got: 2.05, 3.04 (4th veteran pick)
Maybe an overpay to move up, but my only QB is Tua Tagoconcussion, on an expiring contract yet. The 3.04 gives me a shot at Hurts, and if not, either Kyler or Baker, who I can keep for up to 4 more years. (Whereas the 3.12 would likely be Stafford at best, with Danny Dimes the next best available vet.)

I get the worry, but DJM isn't gonna get 10+ touches at RB a game. I'd expect him to get 100+ WR targets and maybe 50 (3-4 per game) rushes at RB.
As for the trade, I don't make that move unless I'm a heavy contender. Love CMC, but I wouldn't trust him as a RB1 unless you've got a lot of RB backup. As it is, if CMC goes down for any length of time, you're screwed.

Yes sir, FOUR 1sts! Rest of my roster is why I did it. I still have Mayfield and Fields at QB, RB's are Gibbs, Stevenson, Charbs, Loyd, Miller, Tuten and Dowdle and WR's are: Tee, Olave, Jamo, Pearsall, Horton, Wicks, Q. Johnston and Jayden Higgins.
I just posted the rest of my roster below this in a comment. That's why I did the trade and I'm still projected the same win total this year as I was before the trade except now I've upgraded my RBs and have 3 firsts the next two years.

Yeah, that's wild and a ton of value to build with. Have to hit on the picks or use them for some good trades of course but that'd be tough to pass up even if downgrading off of Burrow & Daniels in SF

My strategy in Superflex, or start two leagues, is to avoid speculating with my QBs (Fields, rookies, and one year starters). I wanted guys like Purdy and Goff, and I don't want to chase rookie QBs with my draft capital. I was wrong about Purdy two years ago, but I have been correcting that mistake and now own him in a lot of places. I doubt Fields is a starter past this season.
Edit - my QB situation was bad in this league. I bought Fields for two 2nd's during our rookie draft

Picks are great, until they are not as great as you give up. This is not the case all of the time, but the odds are against you when giving up assets like this.

They went 3-4 in both of my recent sf Dynasty start-ups.
I don’t think 2x 1sts would get either of those picks in a startup.
The values involved in that deal are mind blowing. It might be the biggest trade I’ve ever seen posted here value-wise.

The league began in 2021 and I drafted a win now team. I finished #2 in 2021, #3 in 2022, champ in 2023, and #5 in 2024. The league scoring and playoff format are unusual (e.g., round robin playoffs begin in week 11, so late bye weeks are quite impactful); my team was a stronger 2024 contender than the #5 finish implies.

a bit and admiring my new McConkey jersey last night (Chargers fan) and made an impetuous offer that was snap accepted, so I assume I overpaid. I should have started lower.
That said, my team is a contender, and adding McConkey at no roster cost this season improves my chance at another championship. The 2026 1st should be late. Harder to predict the 2027 1st, but would expect mid to late.

Just got this offer in my biggest money league and took it on value but it's got some issues with it.

Gave: Breece Hall, Tyreek Hill and Deebo
Got: Brock Bowers
The issue it created for me is at WR. I had 5 valid starter worthy WR's and now down to 3 and one of them is injured(Jennings). That's a big deal. I have no TE need, already have McBride, Kincaid and Terrance Ferguson. Also broke up my Braelon/Breece duo but I am deep at RB.
Also in redraft I'm lower then consensus opinion on Bowers and higher then on all 3 players I gave up(just drafted two of them in a big FFPC Main Event Thursday night). So I know I probably won value, but it's got some issues. Way my team was set up I really had no needs and now I created one but decided to take the value and try to work it out.

Not directed at eighsse2, I'm just revisiting some Jamo stuff from last year. This was from Aug 2024 after I had traded K Walker for Jamo/Spears. Just for reference, Dan Hindery's trade value chart from a couple weeks ago for Aug 2025 has Jamo listed at 20 and Walker at 18. Though ironically that results in WR22 and RB16. (He has Spears worth 6)
I understand mine was the minority opinion. And Walker could really still smash this deal even more in that direction. IDK what Spears is going to give at this point. Sometimes these trades work out for me where I'm trying to be ahead of the curve. I try not to do it for less than market at the time even though it happens sometimes.
I have turned down a couple *mighty* big offers for Jamo this offseason. I am genuinely curious how folks view him now in dynasty compared to last year. Are there more believers? His ADP in redraft still isn't that high IMO.

Oh man. I want to briefly reply before reading your explanation because all I can say is I love it and I'd run to click accept. In no way shape or form an indictment of either of your 3 you're moving, fully an endorsement of Bowers (and the 2 roster spots are a big deal). I would do the deal on that principle alone.
But, let's be honest, how many more chances are you ever gonna get to move Tyreek or Deebo for real value? And you did both. Grand ****ing slam. Good deal. Now I gotta read your problems with it... my guess is it makes you weaker right now at WR and that is a win-now problem.
I'd say you nailed it on every single thought process I had. Literally could not accept the offer fast enough as I assumed Bowers was being shopped and I knew one very strong team in the league in particular was looking for a young TE and had a bevy of assets to pull it off. Had to accept as you indicated on principle of the value plus roster spots. Figured there is a chance that this time next year I can't get anything of real tangible value for Tyreek or Deebo even though I do like both this year, they still are losing value to age. Two years from now they could be truly nothing in value. And yes it creates a WR problem, but I can work on that and have a lot of assets to work with.
