Uhhh...oh, it's a game...JTM likey games. How about 13 wins in '07? Or...oh, Cowboy Super Bowl appearances + Super Bowl victories? Hmmm...oh, duh, the number of plays in a Super Bowl drive before McNabb pukes away a championship. That was easy. Here's one for you: zero (0)Hint: We've got one for each fingerAll I can say about the Cowboys is 13Given the talent level of the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys coupled with your front office's propensity to irritate and alienate it's most talented players...yes. Just shut down shop and take a vacation from the NFL for the next few years and save yourself the heartache.Just good, solid advice coming from a guy that regrets paying attention during the 'Gailey-Campo-Quincy Carter-Jerry as GM and sole decision maker' era of the Boys.Oooh, the Cowboys are sooo good we should just give up now.my bet is your front office has looked around the East, given up on the foreseeable future, and is now looking to conserve some money.![]()

I could see if you don't like his character, but I don't see how you can dispute that Chris Henry would be the best WR on the roster, probably before he even learned the system. I like Kevin Curtis and think he'll have a decent year, but the Eagles don't have anyone close to Henry's size and talent. As long as he wasn't suspended or in jail I think he would put up huge numbers on this team.Or another #3 WR
About half the reason I'd love the Eagles to go after Henry is because you know that he's going to wind up going to Dallas, and the last think I want to happen is to see them get another uber-talented scumbag. Ether watching Dallas doing it time and time again has finally worn me out or I’m simply reminiscing back to 2004 and thinking about what this team could do with a legitimate threat at wideout. In either case, I’d love them to take the chance on him and just cut him loose if he winds up in trouble again. Like I said, maybe he learned something from being cut and broke (but that’s probably just wishful thinking…).Yeah...but even my Boys wouldn't touch Chris Henry. There's a difference between hanging with friends that get you in trouble and being THAT GUY...and Chris Henry is definitely THAT GUY.

I'm not saying he's a star yet, just that he has the "quality" to be one. I felt the same thing when I saw Westbrook at his first training camp. He's the only other offensive player I've felt that way about (that we drafted) since McNabb - but that's just me, take it FWIW.I'm almost there in buying in. mehhh, looks good in shorts. we already know how good these guys are 10:16 AM - Another red zone opportunity and Hank Baskett leaps up, catching the ball at its peak. Baskett could be a huge weapon to improve on the red zone efficiency."DeSean Jackson runs across the middle, flying past tacklers and gets out of bounds. Any questions of how he can take a hit will have to wait til someone can catch him."
Today's practice blog
Zoom, this is with full pads and hitting.Time shall tell how good he can be...

What a stupid question, Romo is 5 years younger than McNabb. If you're saying the McNabb of 5 years ago or Romo, I say McNabb. Hmmm...maybe another year of Romo is needed prior to this discussion, though I appreciate you bringing that angle to light. Hint: We've got one for each finger
(But I don't want to get in the middle of a syntax war on a football site)
Ending the season 3-0, with wins at Dallas in week 14 (fighting for homefield) and at New Orleans in wk 15 (7-7 at the time, fighting for playoffs) are not meaningless. At the end of the year, Philly was a hotter team than many who did make the playoffs. Unfortunately, 8-8 is what it is. BTW: Dallas lost 3 of their last 4, scoring 49 points over those 4 games. (12.25 ppg) This from a team whose WEEKLY LOW SCORE was 24 preceding this point! Less creative? Sloppy? That's being generous; worse could be said than sloppy or less than creative. I have no idea what that portends. I do know the presumptive division favorite fell back to earth very had and very fast last year. The presumptive doormat, which many lable Philly as, did not.Granted, the Cowboys look better on paper this year. However, over the last month of 2007 I can easily say Philly was playing better football. Too bad they were 4-8 before that...
The hope (for me) is that a healthier team (McNabb, LJ, etc...) a few upgrades within the DB and DE corps (Samuel, Clemons), and a few new acquisitions bringing speed to the offense and special teams (Booker, Jackson) help to keep that year end momentum going.
Here, here M&M![]()
We were less than creative on offense the last month of the season for sure, but I'm not sure you can use the word 'easy' in your statement--meaningless wins against NO and BUF and a 3-1 record shouldn't constitute 'easy' versus our 2-2 record and a meaningless loss in WAS in week 17. We looked sloppy and skated past some scrubs, but y'all didn't exactly dominate playoff squads.
More importantly, what would you be willing to give for Steve Smith now that he's in the rumor mill? We have an extra 3rd and 4th next year, but we don't have a carrot like Lito...at least I'd prefer we not deal any of our NFL-ready talent. I'd do a 1st and 3rd to create Romo/Barbarian/TO/Smith/Witten...maybe Smith is Irvin-esque but with a sucker-punching right-cross.
Has Tony Homo even won a playoff game? McNabb is no Montana but Romo has done NOTHING in this league except a good regular season then hold his team hostage in the playoffs.Wow...not even a Philly guy can respond to this quote? Forget about comparisons to McNabb, that's just hyperbole worthy of stripping you immediately of any credibility whatsoever. Thank you.Rumor on PFT is that the Panthers are "done" with S Smith and that they may be looking to trade him. Not sure he's an AR kind of guy, but he sure would help out our pathetic WRs.This is a good thread for Eagles fans and Eagles information.Take theto those "other" boards.
Don't forget Juqua Parker (nee Thomas). Clemons is passing situations only, I assume. I'd be interested to hear about early impressions of Laws also.Back on point, any insiders see how the D-Line rotation is looking in camp? I know Victor hurt his wrist, so we should have Cole, Howard, Clemons, McDougle at end? How does Laws look at DT; perhaps a good backup to Patterson/Bunkley? Any early thoughts on the D-Line depth chart?
He would, but I have trouble seeing anything happening here. Fox can't afford to let Smith go for one. For another, if he were to let him go, I don't see Philly offering more then a few other clubs out there because he's really not an ideal fit for the team. now that would be funnyi honestly dont see Smith being an Eagle, but its still nice to dream.DeSean Jackson is 4th string WR?Clemons is behind the injured Abiamiri?OFFICIAL DEPTH CHART - RELEASED TUESDAY, AUGUST 5

Interesting.
-King Dunlap backing up Tra, not Justice.
-Juqua Parker starting at LDE, not Howard. Not Clemons.
-Laws ahead of Kimo and Reagor on the depth chart
-Lito and Sheldon JOINT 1st string RCB
and many more!

The coaching staff is really soured on the effort Reggie Brown is putting into camp. Hank Baskett is breathing down his neck to be the starter opposite Curtis.
That doesn't exactly match what Spadaro's been spewing. I thought Basket was having trouble getting past Avant (who supposedly is also having a solid camp)
