I think it might depend on what you are looking for... HOWEVER, you can do your profile thing and get some matched (no pics) without paying, so its worth seeing how many matches you get, although you can't 100% gauge quality until after you pay them... (its $60 for one month, $35/month if you go 3 months, $28/month if you go 6 and $20/month if you go 12... HOWEVER 2 days after signing up I got an e-mail for $22/month for 6 months, so I did that)

I don't disagree, but curious as to what your reasons are.
1. Stalker potential. Quite a few of these girls have caught more than their fair share of the crazy. You don't need that cluttering up your inbox/wall.2. Personal info. You want to control the flow of information about yourself to these girls. When they friend you, they can see everything, including stuff you probably don't want right away. Too much, too soon.3.
