I think I found your problem, woz.First, let me say this: I like you. I really do (my jerkoff posts to you notwithstanding). You seem like a decent kind of guy.
Now, my thoughts: The last four girls you picked (these three and the one from last night) ALL send off warning signals, and I personally would never think to send them a note. I would guess that none of them would be a good time for any guy who contacts them. So, if these girls are indicative of girls you would pick, no wonder your relationships crash.
You say that there are all crazy girls online, but I think the closer to the truth would be that the girls who you pick online are all crazy. I am convinced I could spend 10 minutes on POF and find some quality chicks (I won't do this now, obviously, because if my wife walks in and I am surfing a dating site she won't be happy).
But I will make you a deal: If you send me some basic criteria (age, location), on Monday, I will spend a half hour surfing the site and come up with 3 girls who I think are quality for you to contact. Trust Uncle J on this one, Mike. I'll take you places.

Sweet J lesson number 1: Any girl who you meet on "hotornot" is going to end very, very, very, very badly. Going out with one is like "trying" cocaine -- you may have a fantastic 2 hours of secks, or your heart may stop (because she's put a knife in it). In all honesty last night I wasn't even reading profiles but merely looking at pictures. Didn't even read any of this stuff and didn't until you pointed them out. But yeah, if you want to find me some girls, great!Here'd be my criteria:
1. Live within 25-50 miles of area code 55108 (Twin Cities area of MN).
2. Ages 20-27
3. Honestly, must rank at least a 6.5 out of 10 using an objective scale. If you remember pics of the blonde drifter wrote the message for, or if you remember any of the pictures of my ex, those appearances are exactly my type. Nothing flashy, I like cuter without an excessive amount of tattoos, piercing, and makeup (go with a "if it makes you hesitate, it's too much for me" standard). Must be under 150 lbs too. I'm not much for a big chest (just a bonus to me) but like a girl who takes care of her body. Think middle aged daughter on "Seventh Heaven," the main character girl, Lainie Boggs, in that Freddie Prinz Jr. movie, Jennifer Aniston, etc.
4. Prefer a professional background but preferably not in law or in any types of politcs. Medical (nurses
