Got a hit off POF (which is odd, because my profile there is crap at best). I checked out her two pics, which were from the shoulders up, but could tell she was a big girl.

I had to ask, and she easily told me: 5 foot 3 inches tall. 275 pounds. 57 F cup.

Wow. Get some pics of that. I like em round and big.

This is probably a stupid question, but how do you greet the girls when you first see them? I give them a little hug, no cheek kiss.
Butt grab followed by a gentle but firm booty smack (let her get a taste of what she will be in for later).

Skillz give me a height and weight estimate for the visual.
I'd say she was 5'6" 160 lbs. I expected 5'6" 125 lbs. I wouldn't say she was horribly overweight by any means (such as the woman Bogart just described), but I like thinner women and the pics she posted were not what I saw in person on Friday night. She had a huge fat ### too which isn't appealing to me.

Why so she can eat him for dinner? What's going on with the sushi lady Bogart? Have you talked or gone out with her since your last date?

My apologies, I forgot to post.We went out Saturday night. Was a last minute thing, although she had her kids, she was able to get a sitter. We went to House of Blues for a comedy show and had a really good time. It was sold out, so all they had was standing room only, but she was really cool about it and went with the flow. The lack of chairs worked out well, she felt comfortable leaning back into me as we watched the show.Back to her place. Junior high make-out session commenced. She makes the comment that if her kids were not there she would invite me inside. I told her not to worry, I was patient, your kids are your top priority, and I was just glad to spend some time with her. Well, that comment hit the right chord with her, and next thing I know, my pants are open and I'm getting some of the best oral admiration of my life. :excited: The next date is basically going to be the next Saturday we both don't have kids, at her place. 8 hour window to do whatever we want.

Paul Varghese's show? I really wanted to go to that but I was out of town. He's ####### hilarious, really nice guy too.

That was the one. He is a really nice guy, I have had a chance to have shots/drinks/comedy discussion with him on more than one occasion, and he is a really nice guy. Was really happy that he (along with Chelsea Hood and Aaron) sold out HoB. His act was solid, but he did lose the back of the room on occasion when he went away from just jokes and into observations. I have actually seen Paul bomb at open mic before, but love the fact that he keeps pushing himself with new stuff. It would be very easy for him to just go with the standards that always get laughs.
Bogart FTW. Almost deserves a bump of what became your divorce thread for how well you handled that mess.
Thanks GB. It was/is a long journey, and not over yet, but getting better. That thread did a ton to get me through the process. "lay like tile".
Nice job, Bogart.Did she, um, take her medicine?
Um...

A couple friends of mine had a drink with him after a show at Hyenas back in Jan/Feb. That somehow lead to hanging out with him and Dirk after Saturday's show.

Which one? Been to the one off Mockingbird - really enjoy it each time I've been.

Yeah, that's the one. I get emails all the time about free tickets but have only gone once or twice. Two drink minimum IIRC.

Two drink/item - go with a girl and get 3 drinks total and some food and it's not too bad, although the drinks are relatively weak. The comics I've seen have all been pretty good though. I liked Steve White most.ETA: as far as things to do in Dallas at night, it's up there for me. If I'm not headed to a club with a couple girls, it might be the top of the list for a date night type deal

Yeah, I kind of threw in the towel with iDating...I may fire it back up shortly but too busy in NYC between work and play.

As for my OKC experience, I'll get messages occasionally but all from uglies or weird emo girls that like my artistic palate. I'll send messages to the 8-9s and may get one response out of 10. That's just the kind of effort I'm just not used to putting it. Then after they finally respond, then I have to volley for a bit and then finally get them out for a drink

I'd rather just hit up a bar, skip all the nonesense and tap a 9 that night.

these girls are probably like Major 5s or 6s. Just a day in the life.....

Alright I need a ruling on a pic from the FFA dating community

I set up a profile on Cupid - and one of the pics I'm considering posting is of me riding a mechanical bull from some country festival a while back. My buddy says no way, I think it's just kinda funny. Figured I'd just caption it with something like - Hey, if you can't laugh at yourself... ;)

So does this show that I'm fun, like to have a good time and can laugh at myself, or does it make me look like a hick and turn off any chick that doesn't like country music?? I don't have the pic here to post, but I believe I do have a cowboy hat on in said photo...

Comedy is good fishing bait. I would caption it "Please note I rented the hat for the occasion."

I'm no chick, but I gotta believe this is a red flag for hick. Are you a "Cowboy"? Unless she's Debra Winger, you'll get passed on.

Disagree. He's in Wisconsin. And I presume has other "normal" pics. They know he's not a cowboy.Do it.

I say do it but also post a photo that shows your serious/soft side.
Like me looking contemplative as I gaze out onto the sun setting over a pond??Yes I do have other pics, a headshot, me out with a few buddies, and one with me and Chuck-E-Cheese... I've already gotten positive feed back on the Chuck-E pic  I like the idea of captioning the pic with something like "the hat was rented special for the occasion!"

Side note: As long as your not a super-serious Urban Cowboy wanna-be, girls can get a little jumpy&quo over a good ride.

(pun not intended, but fitting)

Yeah, you want to be the fun loving party guy with a serious and gentle side, unless you're looking to find girls looking for one night :pickle: . Then I'd lean on the side of Alpha.

So what does it mean when girls I've been out with and are still in contact with look at my profile from time to time? Are they just looking at pics because they miss me? :P Or are they checking to see when I've last been online so they know if I'm still active on the site?

Sometimes I'll go back to a chick's profile on OKCupid just to see who's listed under "More Desiring of Sex" in the "similar users" area.

So...about 5 days ago I went back and forth emailing twice with a girl. She owes me a response, but hasn't written me. However, she has viewed my profile twice in between. Is there a play here? Or just let it go?
Email response to her:"Since you haven't responded to my last email, but have checked my profile several times since, I can only assume you are looking for pictures of my junk. See attached. I'll be at [bar] tonight at 7:00. See you there."

Advice needed:

I found someone on OKCupid who's profile I really like, emailed her, got a response enjoying my opener saying "tell me more about yourself", responded but have yet to hear back in 3 or 4 days. For anyone who's done OKC you'll know that they have hundreds of questions people answer that you can see to gauge how like-minded you are, and we're pretty spot on in everything I consider important.

Is there a play to be made, or do I just be patient? She's a very attractive woman (28) so I can see her just being completely overwhelmed. I can see she's been on the site, but has not viewed my profile since I sent the last email...makes me think she's trying to hold off while she sees if something materializes with another fella. I've done that myself...let a little time lapse with a secondary interest while trying to set something up with a primary.

TIA
Wait it out at least a week. If nothing then you can respond with a "Hmm, I think you should give me a chance." or something along those lines. But mostly wait it out. Pretend you're busy living your life and not eagerly awaiting for her response.
Wow, that sounds really needy to me.Also not a fan of the "hope you received my email" or "hope I didn't scare you away" things mentioned. Of course she received it. And again needy/weak.

I'd recommend ignoring the fact that it's her "turn". Who cares? Especially if your last message didn't necessarily require a response.

As discussed at some point in this thread, I've also had success with a one word message in this type of situation...

:crickets:
Bump for bucky.

tall girl - This girl seemed really interested, then nothing. So i gave her the :crickets: email someone said they used earlier, and sure enough, it started the comvo up again. we will see what happens
Share the email please....for future reference.
Im guessing it was Disco Stu who started it. All i said in the email was :crickets:which is obviously a joke only people here would get. And she responded laughing asking what it meant. I think Stu used this, and it worked for him, so i tried it, and it worked as well!
:goodposting:

So...I had a great date this past Tuesday. Texted her this morning and she wants to do karaoke this weekend. I FREAKING SUCK AT SINGING!! Is there some kind of song that is really simple and is almost impossible to screw up?
Kung Foo Fighting.

The Gambler or any other song where the dude is more talking then singing. Or songs that are more fun/party songsMargaritavilleParadise by the Dashboard Lightsstuff like thatAlternatively you could do some Pantera songs where it's all screaming anyways...

I jokingly said I'm practicing Call Me, Maybe....she said that she would would love it if I performed that. :bag:
I'm a fan of the "do something so ridiculous that its obvious you arent trying to sing well" approach because it is humorous, a little self-deprecating (always a good thing in small doses), and shows you don't take yourself too seriously.Even if you are, in fact, trying to sing well. :bag:

My guess is that she doesn't give a crap how good a singer you are, she just wants to see how much fun you are. Choosing a song just because it's easy to sing is boring. Choose a song that you like and already know the words to. It doesn't matter if your voice sucks.
