Everything is a tradeoff. I tell myself I'd rather be single but I conveniently forget a lot of the miseries that went along with it. There are a lot of great things about being married too.

This isn't hard though -- if she's the one you want to get really serious with, you'll know it. You'll miss her when you're not with her and you'll want to spend more and more time together. You said you're not ready to give up the single life, so there's your answer. You'll never forgive yourself if you settle down before you're ready. Most chicks openly list their height requirements as being 5'10" and above. The last time around I was 35 years old and reaching out to chicks in the 30-36 years old bracket. Now I'm 37 and am happy pursuing older chicks who are much less fussy about that stuff (and not nearly as in demand with other dudes as 30 year old bunnies ).

Height and sense of humor are probably the two most desired traits in a guy.

In regards to height women correlate taller to "protective" traits and also want to be able to wear high heels and still look aesthetically pleasing standing next to their partner. Being the same height or taller than a guy makes a woman feel less feminine.

Harsh reality is an average looking 6-3 guy will generally pull more tail than a 5-8 good looking guy.

ETA: I'm 6-1 which is perfectly fine in most cases, and still list my profile as 6-2. There's absolutely no downside in going up an inch (unless you're already 6-6+)

And I don't foresee myself going back to younger (early 30s and below) women as I don't want to have any more kids at this point. There's also a basic maturity and generational mindset that I feel more comfortable with in the older chicks.
