BTW--I'm pretty much done screwing around with the ex. She went nuts after seeing summerfest girl writing on my Facebook, and I just told her (in a not so nice way) to screw off. She's written me 3 e-mails explaining how it wasn't anything to do with her, and saying she doesn't even know who she is...blah blah. Too bad it was way too obvious.I tried to be nice.

7/18/07 update?Sure, though 3 weeks is an eternity in idating terms. She'll be off the market by 4th of July anyway...All works (I'll even forward you any contact with her through e-mails). My only gripe is with the date. I haven't signed up yet and that time period only gives me 3 weeks. I figure at least a week or two of initial contact to set something up, the need for at least one very "good" date to get a photo or several so taking it with her isn't awkward (even a goofy spur of the moment camera phone pic would be odd), and finally I have my next few weekends booked and will have people out visiting for a week of the next 3 weeks so the timing is too short. Would you be okay with 7/18/07?

Well, after about a week of reading I've finally made it to the end of this thread.
I'm new to the FBG forums (this is actually my first post) and this thread caused me to actually sign up. At some point I'm going to need a tutorial on all of the abbreviations you guys use, but not now.
I've been single now for a couple months and am going to give the internet dating thing a shot. So I thought why not join in here and let a bunch of strangers follow my progress (or lack thereof). I'm signed up on Match and also have a MySpace account. I don't know what/where this Underground place is but if thats where you are putting pics of "candidates" then count me in!
Questions or comments, feel free to ask!

Krista was not iDating, in fact she was pretty exclusively anti-dating until she met Mr. Perfect, and then instantly back to anti-dating when he turned into Mr. Psycho...but according to the dating guys she's been a wonderful resource...if you know what I mean...Was Krista idating? And hey, how 'bout a shoutout for the work I did on your profile?Contrary to most things in life, when it comes to e-mails whilst iDating, shorter is better. And DEFINITELY ask about her. The one thing I've noticed as the biggest issue in e-mails I've looked at for others is that there is a tendency to blather on and on about oneself, without ever acknowledging that you are communicating with...ready for this?...another person. Pick out a thing or two in her profile to comment on and indicate why that makes you a good match. Don't make it seem like you're giving your resume. Ask questions! Act interested!

"curvy 34" is still in the picture, but it's not exclusive. I get a little bored during the down times and start browsing. With us both having kids, dates are kind of sporadic. We'll get together 3 nights of 4 or 5, and then go 10 or 11 without seeing each other.Oh yeah, and this counts as iDating since she found me on myspace.
