Unfortunately, we’re losing our GB @brunas the ticket buyer.  He volunteered as a resident of a state that doesn’t tax lotto income.

Do we have any other volunteers from a no income tax state to buy?  If not, I’ll buy and we’ll contribute to the “fix the damn roads” fund in Michigan when we win.
I've never understood this.  Wouldn't we be taxed by each of our own states?

True, generally states have reciprocity when it comes to this. However, if you live in a no tax state and the tickets are bought in a taxed state, then you will owe tax to the state where the tickets were purchased. Purchasing in a no tax state meant that only those living in taxes states would be taxed. So, the impact is mostly just for those living in untaxed states.

Similarly, despite living in a no income tax state such as NH. When I worked in MA I owed income tax to MA. If I lived in MA and worked in NH I would still owe income tax to MA.

FWIW - I wish you guys luck. In the end it doesn't matter that much. I'm sure you'd rather pay tax if you win than not win anything.

Can you look over my history again please?

I sent on 3/27 and I think what I send is for two periods. Thanks.
You are correct... my apologies!  I track payments in the spreadsheet using emails from PP and for some reason, I didn't get an email for your payment.  Sorry again!
