***OFFICIAL*** FFA MLB Draft (2 Viewers)

Bottom 1: Maranville Rabbits

Roger Clemens '91 takes the mound. Rickey Henderson hits a single. [1] Henderson steals second. [2] Billy Hamilton hits a flyball single to RF. Henderson scores from second. [1] Hamilton steals second. [2] Rogers Hornsby hits a flyball single to CF. Hamilton scores from second. [1] Reggie Jackson flies out to shallow RF. Hornsby steals second. [2] Pie Traynor flies out to shallow RF. Mickey Cochrane hits a home run. Cal Ripken grounds out.
Get use to seeing innings like this. 4 hits, 3 steals, 4 runs scored. I have a serious man crush on my killer "H's", Henderson, Hamiliton and Hornsby.

Get steal if you can't get on. :boxing:

Anybody else having fatigue issues? I'm going to have to sit Tris Speaker this next game.
Sitting Larkin. Dude hasn't done #### and is at 93%. Knoblauch will be playing in his place. :bag:

Totally reconfigued my lineup only Pesky and Aaron are starting from my originals. Rest of the crew is already at below 90%.

Hamilton is at 89. Everyone else is at 100. Hate to sit him this early. May wait until game 4.
Speaker is at 79 and his number moved from green to blue. When it changes color I figure that means something. Got a few other guys in the high 90's and the rest 100. Gossage is in the red after pitching back to back.

How are your guys so tired. My only guy is Campanella at 98%
I think it is almost straight off AB's. Speaker has a relatively low number (right around 400). Throw in the fact that we just played a 13 inning game and it isn't bothering me that much. Seems reasonable that, that would wear some guys down.

Cobb (93) and Howard (92) are the only guys under 100%. Going to sit Howard for Fisk in game 3 but leave Cobb in. We'll see what happens.

I can see right now that having only one OF on my bench was a mistake. Someone teach Gil Hodges to catch fly balls quick!!

Williams, D Dimaggio, B BondsI'll be sending those RIBS to myself.
Might have to sim a few games using the Garry Templeton or Willie Randolph OF experiment.

This fatigue thing throws a whole new monkey wrench into the works. Are there vertual days off in the sim? Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Troopers score 2 in the bottom of the 9th to win 8-7 and improve to 2-0.  Mickey Tettleton gets 3 hits including the game winner.
update- that was actually in the bottom of the 13th. Great game. editing to add Tettleton hit a solo shot in the bottom of the 9th to tie it up and force extra innings.
just reading that box scoregame of the year so far. Pumpnicks gets a run in the 8th to tie, and another in the 9th to take the lead. UCONN, as mentioned above, ties it in the bottom of the ninth with a leadoff HR by Tettleton.Goes extra, to the top of the 13th, when Pumpnick scores on a bases-loaded walk, and then the sim leaves the pitcher in to hit with 2 outs and the bases still loaded.

How do you get to other teams' box scores?

No
I have to check. I hope I dont have too many 3rd years where there were not too many ABs. Hey, what if people used a 4th or worse year. That seems to be a fair and logical way to ensure no one gets screwed by a dumb rule. I am sure no one in a fun draft would actually stand in the way of something like this, unless they had a vested interest in using a technicality to "win" something when in the end, that victory would be rendered moot. \Then again, I am sure if someone was stubborn enough not to give in, especially if that was because of something like sim fishing, they might also be the type to bask in the glow of an online message board victory, even if that victory was tainted by an unforseen consequence of a fly by the seat of your pants draft rule.Granted, only a true loser would rule fish and sim fish... but hey, it is a message board draft. Was this ever discussed? :bag:

Click on the date of the game. You'll get a window showing all of the day's games. Click on the inning next to the score and it'll bring you to the box score.

On the leave pitcher in note it was his 6th pitcher of the day (we only have 10 man staffs). He'd also already used 3 ph's. Plus the pitcher had just worked a 1,2,3 12th inning. I can see that move. We were also leading off the inning w/ a lefty (and he was a lefty) and had 3 lefty's in our next 5 batters (and 3 lefty's and 2 switch hitters in our next 6...only 1 true righty).

 Very cool. Thanks a lot.

Here's a fun play...

Ed Delahanty hits a groundball to 3B which is fielded cleanly, but Wade Boggs's throw sails into the stands. Official scorer: E-5.
not enough chicken before the game....or too much Margo.
I had Schmidt toss one into the stands in an exhibition.Have seen some crazy stuff. Inside the park game winning HRs... and more guys get thrown out at home in this thing, even when you have low run settings.

What happened to the King Kelly All-Stars? Looks like one of the joke teams has been juiced quite a bit. The 4 joke teams should be roughly even in strength (even to each other).edit: never mind. just looked at their season stats. all those guys may have bigger names, but they have like 10 ABs each. :rotflmao:edit again: ok, i'm an idiot. those are their sim stats for the first 2 games.

well, I have lost a pre-season game in extra innings on a damn passed ball with the bases loaded, so anything is possible.(I think that was to you in fact. :hot: )
