besides which, I never said I believe in dragons as in what the stories describe, I said that SOMETHING had to have been there for real for the stories to be so similar and so farspread...I honestly feel that htere is no way that there were no dinosaurs/large lizards living while man is... whether there arne't many of them or they really aren't that incredibly large or are extinct now isn't the point...The point is that 500 years ago there WERE large lizard-like creatures scattered around the world that many different men in many different time periods in many different places saw and claimed to have seen...The only logical explanation from all of these similar accounts (when most of them weren't seen by others) is that there were, in fact, some type of large lizard-like creatures living in those places...

hey, I'd rather think that there was something more to the "dragon myths" than just mythology than be Nipsey's #####...besides which... if something was there, and it was a dinosaur, or dinosaur like, what did you want them to call it? "Dinosaur" wasn't a word unitl the mid-1800s...

Edged Spartans 6-5 to stay within a game of the division lead. Nice clutch hitting for my squad in the 8th and 9th innings, for a change. Jesse Burkett pinch hit in the winning run, pinch runner Tim Raines.Heck, Lolich even managed to get the win :eek: . Al Leiter was pitching well, but I had his PC down to 80. Was worried that he tired early in his previous start, but I probably should set his PC to 90 -- think he could've gone longer than 5 2/3 tonight.LF Stan Musial extends his hitting streak to 14 games with a HR. He also gave up a 2-run error in the 7th ... wondering if I should move him into the much smaller right field when at home.George Brett goes 0-fer in the lead-off spot. He's hitting well overall ... he probably deserves another shot at it. Pinson may see action in the one-hole before too long.

well after 16 reasonably tough games, I finally get a chance to get healthy in the standings against a dummy team.8-8, but with some of the teams I've faced and my pitching, I can live with it.
